This contrasts quite harshly against the sight before him; candlelight dancing off of every golden and ruby scale, glittering with each soft flicker of the flame, horns arch from his temples, scales crawl down the side of his face, tracing across shoulder blades and trailing down toned arms, sharp talons that could cut steel digging into the mahogany of his vanity like it were made of clay, the almost imperceptible tremble of his shoulders giving way to the fear reflected in slit pupils, golden eyes boring into Logan's very soul. His wings shift behind him, almost spreading, before pulling them in again. His tail flicks, dragging harshly against the carpet and tearing fibers. Roman continues to stare Logan down, seemingly trying to will Logan away.
