How to Care for an Extrovert
1. Respect their need for independence and autonomy.
2. Praise and compliment them in front of others.
3. Affirm their passion and enthusiasm.
4. Encourage them to talk things through as a way of processing problems and challenges.
5. Encourage and affirm their spontaneity. Surprise them from time to time.
6. Recognise that they’re likely to be super busy and, possibly, over committed, too.
7. Allow them to try new things right away, while their enthusiasm is high.
8. Give them lots of choices and options.
9. Demonstrate your love and affection. Tell them and show them how much they mean to you.
10. Give them the opportunity to shine.
Hey.
Just listen to me for a sec.
Breathe. Breathe deeply.
Stretch for a minute, straighten your back, have a drink and maybe a snack if you need it. Wash your face if you want to and freshen up, maybe rest once you’ve finished reading this.
Whatever you’re doing will still be there when you get back.
You’ve been working hard and doing a good job and I’m proud of you. You deserve a break for a second.
Just trust me on this, okay?
You’ve survived everything that’s happened to you up until this point.
That’s a lot of things, isn’t it?
You’ve gone through all that, and it doesn’t matter if you fought through it or cried through it or nearly didn’t make it.
It doesn’t matter because you’re here now.
You’re real, you’re here, and you’re okay.
And if you’re not okay right now, I promise you will be again sooner or later.
Because I believe in you.
I love you.
I’m so proud of you for being here today.
I’m so proud of you for existing here right now.
It’s a scary, painful, difficult world. I know. And sometimes it gets hard to exist and want to exist. I know.
Let out the emotions you’re bottling up. Let yourself breathe. Let yourself feel. Let yourself rest. Let yourself be you.
Just always keep existing. ‘Cause I’d miss you if you ever stopped, and there’s so much left in the world that you haven’t seen yet.
And always remember to breathe.
Good people are like candles, they burn themselves up to give others light.

Boys want a girl that does what they say and doesn't give them lip service. Guys want gals that will not nag about their friends or how much they're gone. Men know how lucky we are that a woman chose us to respect and support THEM.

Winter, God, and Me
Some find winter to be an annual era of desolation, reeling from or even reveling in the seasonal melancholy of the death of foliage, the cabin fever, and the biting chill of the season. I’ve always held a different view. I believe that our lives parallel mother nature’s cycle, especially her yearly frigid purification. Such is the case with the death and rebirth of the trees in the winter.
The disappearance of leaves from the trees are like the yearly exodus of “friends” who may be making decisions about who is worth braving the great outdoors to spend time with once the mercury drops. The small branches fallen from the trees are representative of the things that we must give up due to issues of exposure to the cold, including employment, in some cases. The loss of these things makes us appreciate the individuals that are there through the barren cold months, as well as the things that we must do without until the sun and the flowers return. But these dead looking trees are not ugly. Quite the opposite, they are beautiful in so many ways. Take the solid trunk, for example. That’s our heavenly father keeping us standing strong against the elements. The thick branches that stay throughout the winter? Those are our morals, service to others, and strong work ethic that bring us friends and opportunities to grow and flourish each year. The roots that hold us strong in the ground year in and year out are our family, significant others, and true friends. They hold our feet to the ground as we reach ever closer to the stars.
It is through this yearly stripping away of superficiality that we get to the core of who we are. This gives us our starting point or foundation for the rebirth of ourselves in the coming season. What about those that don't experience these changes? Pine trees stay green throughout the year. Doesn’t that debunk this theory? Definitely not. Their trunks are narrow and their roots shallow. When the wind blows hard, they’ll fall and die while the rest stand strong to see another day.
So enjoy this cold spell. Let the leaves fall, if they must. Stay strong and rebuild for the coming of another year where we have an opportunity to grow taller, stronger, and more beautiful than ever.
Kind people are the loneliest people. Not because they choose to be but because it's human nature to reject them in quite an unintended form of spiritual survival. You see, once you help someone through one of the darkest moments of their lives, you become a part of that moment. If they see you, talk to you, or acknowledge you in any way, it's like reliving a moment that person would rather leave buried. By making your memory a casualty of their struggle, they can remain a survivor of it. They don't mean to cast you aside. They have to.
J.R. Keck
My body is energized. My mind is racing. But my soul is so tired. It's got footprints from being kicked and stepped on. It has many scars and hasn't had a dry eye in years. My soul is an angel's spirit chained and stoned because the world doesn't understand kindness without the motivation of material gain. It is the essence of a rambler, constantly on the move because of the abuse received from those who would take advantage of its love. There have been days that I was literally on my knees not wanting to care anymore. On those days, I felt the hand of Jesus on my shoulder lifting me to my feet and heard the words of the Holy Ghost. "You can't stop loving. The godhead needs you and all those like you. Please rise and love again." On those days, I realize that I would be just as bad as all else evil in this world, were I to stop caring. Please, everyone, love someone. Deny the devil the fertile ground of discontent.

To have her here in bed with me, breathing on me, her hair in my mouth — I count that something of a miracle.

I only ask for three things from you. The first is to love me even when I don’t love myself. The second, is to hold me when I’m falling apart. and lastly, to stay; to always stay.

In the valleys of life, the canyon walls can be very steep. It's very important, the company you keep. Any old ass can help bare the load. But the right partner will also shorten the road

The true bane of someone who wants to believe that people are intrinsically good and life is a day at the beach is the ability to read between lines and to find the scale marks in the sand.

You'll never find buried treasure scratching the surface. You have to dig deep to reach the true bounty. The same applies to people. You never know what lies beneath the surface and you won't know, if you don't try.

There is a space where you soar high on your dreams, touching the sky and flying away. Then there is a spot called reality that often provides a hard landing. And in between there is another place. I’ll meet you there.
