It's strange to say everything truly started at someone's birth. In the case of one Y/n Uzumaki Namikaze. The day she was born was a shock. Her father's had been expecting a boy. Most of the time when both of bio parents were men it resulted in a boy. They already had two older boys and they'd been told she was one but that day, August 10th, after 12 grueling hours of labour Minato gave birth to a little girl. They didn't know what to do when they were handed a pink bundle instead of blue.

They started at her little face. She was adorable. "Well, we can't name her Naruto, I'm not naming my daughter after any of Jiraiya's characters. How about Y/n? It was my great great grandmother's name.", says Kenshin. Minato nods and starts to open his mouth. Then the door bursts open. It's a man in a orange mask.

He falters and becomes furious at the two fathers. "You were supposed to give birth not him. Now I'll have to kill you to get the kyu...", shouts the orange masked man but cuts off as he's tackled from behind by a white haired older man, Jiraiya.

The fighting that ensued was loud and violent to the point it shocked some the most senior shinobi. It was cut short though when the newborn begin to cry and objects started to float. The man in the orange mask and Jiraiya were both pummeled by the objects.

One of the objects hit the orange man so hard he flew out the window. Once that happened the floating objects stopped attacking and dropped. Jiraiya shakily stood and looked out the window. The man was gone already. The fathers and Jiraiya all cursed.

Then it seemed to register what all had happened. Jiraiya and Minato looked at the baby like she was an anomaly. Kenshin smiled though. "Gosh, the legends my clan told were true. The women born in our clan are witches. There was only three of them before the massacre and they all perished with the rest I was young then and thought they were just stories to remind us to value women. Our Y/n is going to be the strongest women in the world.", says Kenshin.

Shikamaru: He had known as loud, noisy, and cheerful his entire life so when she got quiet and let him sleep he paid attention. He heard a tiny almost imperceptible of whine pain and shot up. Menma, her older brother, had her by the hair. It looked incredibly painful and everyone else, including the teacher whose back was turned, was ignoring it.

"Hey!", shouted Shikamaru uncharacteristically. Everyone froze and looked at him. "Let her go! That is not okay. What is wrong with you? You can't just suddenly grab someone by the hair.", seethes Shikamaru.

Menma actually looked afraid. He dropped the now crying Y/n's hair. Shikamaru went up to Y/n and rubbed her scalp.

"That looked incredibly painful. Are you okay, Y/n? Do you...?", he started but Y/n ran from the room, she looked afraid.

Tenten: Tenten knew something was wrong the first time he meet Y/n at the age of 8. Why would the hokage's daughter want to hang out with orphans and have no guard if something wasn't wrong?, was his thought on matter.

Tenten welcomed the troublemaker with open arms. It had started as a sisterly affection but over the years it took a turn to romantic. When he graduated from the academy he knew he was a goner when she gifted him a katana with a dragon painted onto the handle.

When she graduated from the academy he wanted to give her a gift too. Instead of a weapon though he got her a pet fox pup. He put a collar fox pup and tied a orange bow to it and brought it to the test.

When he got there Y/n was already out but so was Menma, her oldest brother, who was shoving her. Y/n looked on the verge of crying. Tenten walked over to her and handed her the baby fox. "Here's your present, Y/n. They're a girl.", says Tenten her softly before rounding on Menma angrily.

"You! What is wrong with you? That's not okay. She's your little sister. You should be protecting her not causing her misery. Do you realize even that your causing permeant mental distress to her? You're terrible. She needs love not whatever the heck you're doing. If you can't be nice leave her alone. I won't let you hurt her again.", says Tenten.

Hina (Male Hinata): Hina had always watched her. He knew since they were kids the way she was treated was not okay. He'd been to shy to say anything about it though. However the day the graduated from the academy he saw something different. Y/n was crying.

He'd never seen that before. Menma, one of her brothers, was mocking her, which he'd done plenty of times, but this time the dam broke. As her tears spilled out and she ran away something in Hina snapped too. He was furious.

The young Hyuuga heir did something no had ever expected. He got in Menma's face. "That was not okay. You're supposed to be her big brother and protect her, not torment her. Y/n forces herself to pretend to be happy everyday because of people like you. You just pushed her to the point she can't even force a smile anymore and you think it's funny? It's not. You just did serious damage to her mental state. You better hope it can be fixed before anything that can't be taken back happens to her or I will make you regret being born.", hisses Hina before tearing off after Y/n.

Neji: Neji was normal aloof and uncaring about everyone. However Y/n Uzumaki was his secret soft spot. Most thought he hated her or at least found her irritating but it was the opposite. She was the only one who could make his lips twitch into a slight smile after his father died.

He'd always assumed she was cheerful because she had a happy home life. That was not the case he realized today. Menma, one of her brothers, had passed by her after she passed her academy and purposely rammed into her hard. She feel the ground instinctively out her hand to try to stop face planting. He saw her her wrist twist wrong and pain bloom in her eyes.

Female Reader is taking taking place of Naruto in a neglected story, but it's a romantic scenario. I am using Y/n.

Sasuke: He usually wasn't concerned with others, especially Y/n Uzumaki, the prankster and biggest pain in his butt. Then he saw tears pricking her eyes when one of her brothers, Menma, insulted her while her parents and other brother, Mika, just stood by and let it happen. He saw her turn and run off.

Sasuke stiffened and dropped his shuriken. "The heck is wrong with you. He made her cry and the rest of you just let him. Y/n maybe be a prankster but never does anything cruel. She only puts a smile on others faces. You literally pushed her point she cried and ran off. Do you realize at all how hard that is? She's cheerful and nice to everyone while almost everyone else insults her because you let them because you chose to seal demons soul in her body but don't protect her. That's not okay. Your supposed to be her family and make her feel loved and safe, not making her depressed and miserable voluntarily. My family might seem quiet and cold in public but they'd never do that to me.", says Sasuke before stomping off to find Y/n.

Kiba: The inuzuka clan was very tight knit and loyal to each other. Everyone knew that. The Uzumaki clan was said to be even closer Kiba always saw them ignoring Y/n. Hed always suspected something was wrong. He didn't realize how wrong until just before they graduated the academy. He saw Menma, one of her brothers, shove her to the ground as she walked to school and laugh before walking straight past her.

She was covered in scrapes. His blood boiled. The usually smiling Y/n looked like she was gonna cry. He walked over and offered her a hand to help her up. She hesitats before taking it. "Are you alright? What he did was not okay. Does that happen often?", he says.

Kiba known for being playful and unserious. Seeing him do a 180 was a rare thing and concerning if you weren't used to it or expecting it. "I'm fine.", was all Y/n says stiffly before walking away.

Shisui: Shisui was bright, cheerful, playful, and a prankster unlike the rest of the clan. It means he was one of the few people who got along with Y/n easily. He genuinely enjoyed her company. He could tell though she was starved for attention. He gave it to her so she sought him out a lot.

He thought it was because her parents were just both very busy people. He thought that for 10 years. Then he decided to go to her graduation test. Her brothers got out first and the family left without her, didn't even hesitate. 'That was not right.', he thought himself frowning.

Y/n came out b lined for him to show of the band tied to thigh symboling she was a konoha ninja without looking for her family at all. He almost frowned but stopped himself. He brought it up. "Hey, your family left a moment ago. Are you going to meet them some where?", says Shisui.
