My heads truly a mess of thoughts and I might not know what Im truly expressing. But Lord do I love the thrill of writing with everything i have
Being articulate, though desirable, can't capture the rawness of unfiltered thoughts. And learning to be articulated might fix how I think, but I think I'll let my mind be whatever it wants to be for the time being
Thoughts and emotions lead to one another
My number one motto in life is to demystify everything. As in, see things for what they truly are without letting any one aspect of it cloud your perception on it. I think, to truly understand something, both emotions and thoughts should be taken into consideration. And to do that, I think the question of "why" is really important
Thinking without taking emotions into consideration and vice versa would be unrealistic. Because that would mean dismissing a big part of the human experience. at the end of it all, we are still limited to the human perspective, thus we should widen it to its limits which cant be achieved if we dismiss those. You cant understand without feeling and feel without understanding are both leave big blind spots
Emotions lead to thoughts and thoughts lead to action, which again lead to emotions. Our feelings and biases dont exist in a vacuum, it hints to something bigger which can be further discovered with thought
People who get lost in constantly intellectualizing everything in the world and forget to feel things/understand the feelings of others will eventually have to regurgitate their own thoughts and lead themselves into emptiness
This is also why llms dont really work well. Theyre supposed to act like a human with consciousness, but they lack the ability to feel things so they cant truly think either. They lack the nuance and patterns that come with biological beings, so the best they can do is repeat information
My thoughts are the most important thing to me (this somehow leads to nihilism)
My thoughts are very dear to me, I feel a visceral attachment to it. Though to others it may come off as a weirdly articulated mess. It reads as perfect to me. Recording down my thoughts in writing is my most beloved hobby(?) alongside listening or reading others' thoughts, consuming stories through any medium or making art
Thinking about thoughts themselves, I realize, I as an individual might take my own thoughts or any thoughts at all for that matter as something of great importance. Thats personal to me; it might not be for others.
Really the concept of worth and value is such an abstract thing. Though being abstract doesnt mean it doesnt exist, it doesnt really exist in a way that we can all sense it. Its so subjective and situational, yet we try to see it as something objective by attaching it to material things
Money really is just paper and gold really is just metal to those who arent aware of their perceived value. We might estimate somethings worth due to how it appeals our senses according to needs, but even that is highly situational
I have a rather nihilistic view on the world, because Im aware that im just a human limited to my own thoughts. Though I dont see the reason for nihilism to coincide with pessimism. The world might not have a meaning, maybe not even one we can comprehend. But that shouldnt be bad, thats just how it is
The universe and earth is neutral, and we humans create the "world" based on whats convenient to us for the sake of satisfying ourselves for self preservation. All concepts which mirror the contradictory idea of good/bad exist just for the sake of our convenience in the "world" we created, other than that everything is more or less equal in the sense that it exists and has the right to exist and interact with the universe
So if everything is built by us, why dont we try to make the world a better place for all of us? The answer might just be that... We don’t know how to. Humans are born unequal in ways which should be negligible if everyone is given equal respect and rights
The greatest human power isnt to conquer, but to resist being conquered
our world has a rather warped view on intelligence. No intelligent and wise man would truly inhibit the destructive and exploitative version of greed and hunger for power. Because, they would know no amount of external successes can truly satiate humans in the journey of satisfaction
that greed and power hunger isnt innate, but rather it is fostered. From early on, children are raised to think that true success equates to having more than others. Even if they are told otherwise, children learn from the environment, not only through the words that humans have created only recently.
That idea of needing the most was not spontaneous either
We as humans have gone through devastation countless times in history. And in a state of devastation where self preservation relies on having the most material goods, where the heart and mind wont satiate the hunger in our bodies– we revert to an animalistic state of greed for the sake of survival.
and that greed does not disappear. Once our bodies realize that greed is optimal for survival, that idea remains even in a state where there is no devastation. the ones who survive go on to cause devastation to others to fulfill their irrational and, now, destructive greed.
the idea remains that greed is survival, that sharing will cause our demise, and that everyone is out to harm us thus we should be out to harm them in order to defend ourselves. These are thoughts of someone going through famines and wars. But we perpetuate this philosophy even now in an age of surplus resources. The ones who cause our devastation by hoarding our shared wealth as the beings of this world are our idols. And we shall strive to be like them and repeat this cycle of man made suffering for no reason at all
This destructively greedy philosophy of ours permeate within our being, it is normalized as something innately human. This creates the gap of wealth based class and the idea of meritocracy to justify it
We have truly lost sight of what humanity is. Further, what true intelligence and wisdom is
It isnt doing the most even at the cost of taking it from others, it is what we truly want to do in order to feel satisfied. Because truly, all we do in this earth is for satisfying the urges of our body, heart and mind for self preservation. This can be achieved through truly knowing about the world and then deciding what we want from it. Which requires true intelligence and wisdom, not through boundless greed
Consuming excess doesnt mean you will be happy. it just perpetuates the cycle of greed. Once you consume all, at one point, you let something else consume your true purpose of attaining satisfaction. Greed isnt limited to conquering, it is letting yourself be conquered by desires that arent truly yours and wont benefit you in this world
The only way we can satisfy ourselves is through doing the things we find fulfilling and enjoyable. And those are simple in a world where everyone is intelligent enough to claim their own freedom and lets others have theirs

art is pretentious.
Art is seen as pretentious to the common man because elites benefit from dividing us from the arts. Art, in whatever form it exists is political. Art cannot ever be separated from the human. But by separating it from the common man from art, they are neglected of the education and skill that is required to understand art. We may not see it, but, elites benefit from the masses ridiculing art– it makes something as valuable as art exclusive to them.
These masses lose their humanity and creativity as a result of seeing art as something ridiculous and pretentious– consequently, they can easily be exploited under the idea of utilitarianism and productivity.
Human nature is a prerequisite of art; Art is a manifestation of human nature even. By taking away our ability to create and understand art, they're taking away our humanity, our personal identity or taste and most importantly, our intelligence
Once humans forget art, its easy to manipulate them into soulless and unthinking machines under capitalism or religious extremism
I believe all human traits are neutral. They become bad only if they are uncontrolled and excessive
The approval of others earns me the right to exist
Ive always considered myself to be someone of average intellect. Though, even if I were someone of higher or lower intelligence– I'd know that it would not make me any more or less inferior as a human being
I've never been particularly interested in earning good grades– and somehow I've been continuously getting good grades either way. Whatever it may be– a stroke of luck or anything else; somehow these grades I never particularly worked for still make me happy. Somehow the acknowledgement I get from that makes me happy still
I've never really been seen as an intelligent person by my family, with how I never express my thoughts with them. Matters of my upbringing aside– I always trusted that I'll never be any better than my overachieving brother
In this shallow society where mere numbers determine something as grand as intelligence for a child. Somehow I have found solace. I, the person who has been conditioned to seek approval from others in order to find a place where they can exist as something beyond an idiot
I obviously still dont see myself as someone of higher intelligence. I made this tumblr account as an escape from the labels of the real world. Somewhere I can truly spill everything that tortures my mind and where i can discuss things that pique my interest
I think every child should have the opportunity to be explore their interests with authenticity, without the pressure of condescending labels such as "good/bad" and "smart/dumb". At the end of it all, we are all humans.
And I think every person has the capacity to be a genius. But not the space for it in this bigoted and cruel world. And thats so unbelievably tragic to me
performative people
i think humans by nature are performative. We tend to assume one single personality for ourselves outside of natural instincts and our subconscious reactions to stuff
We are social animals who are constantly going through the process of socialization. So we are constantly developing that one personality, especially in our younger formative years. We also have the innate desire to fit in with whatever the norm or trends are around us. So by nature, we are performative.
We perform in the script of our identity everyday. Some people constantly try new things that might fit them, some are principled and some just do what comes naturally to them. I dont think neither are inferior to the other
Though a problem arises when people get too absorbed in their performance to please others or to fit in thus they lose their true selves. Those are normal in moderation but not when it erases what the person actually aligns with.
I think this type of performance should only ever be temporary, let alone become a whole widespread cultural phenomenon
I think we as humans tend to be stuck in the perception of ourselves and the people around us individuals without considering everyone as products of a system
Though a person should always be held accountable and compensate for their own actions. It is everyones duty to truly understand the reason behind the actions
Free will might be true to us on a human level, though it may exist for some instances, i would argue that we arent truly free. We are always bound by fate, and fate is something we cant truly figure out. Its beyond our comprehension i think
All in all, rather than getting attached to people as individuals. I think a fair judgement or any hope of change warrants the understanding of the system and the events that made the person who they are
We forget that we could very easily be in the positions of the humans we detest. If only a few things in our lives that we take so granted had been different.
After all, we are all humans of the same flesh and we should treat everyone as if they were us. Our own self is someone we know most about. Its a simple lesson we have all been taught as a kid but it holds great significance. It reminds us that everyone deserves the same amount of empathy and understanding (none of these should ever rule an unfair judgement) because at the end of it all we are just vulnerable humans who tend to take our intangible identity far too seriously
We are nothing but victims of destiny really, so let our mind shape our own destiny by being aware of it

One life is not enough.
There’s way too many good films and tv shows to watch, way too many art museums to visit, too many books to read, canvases to paint, journals to write, sports to play, songs to listen to, outfits to wear, countries to visit, languages to learn, dishes to eat, dreams to dream, jobs to try, people to meet, and one lifetime isn’t enough for all that and even more. Way too many lives to live.
I think one life is plenty enough to be the person you want to be. The desire to be something beyond human persists in all of us due to the discomfort that ensues in this life. However i think the things we do in this life: as in the places we go, the things we like, and more is what defines us as the person we are meant to be. Boundless consumption will only make us lose ourselves at one point, and consequently we will lose our enjoyment for those things mentioned above
Though our desires are unlimited, our limited resources is what gives this small life and the things within it any value at all
Its all luck really
people like to think things can be achieved solely through hard work. But achievement is always luck. Some people can achieve things just by being born while others have to work for it. But you cant always get it by just working for it either
Its not that labor doesnt contribute. Some people steal labor and some people do the labor. But even this ultimately boils down to luck in a way. Someone who doesnt have the means to do labor themselves is either neglected by society and never achieves anything or steals from peoples labor– someone who has the means to do labor either gets opportunities to succeed from it or gets their labor stolen
Meritocracy claims to recognize people for their labor when it really is all about luck. Its just dehumanizing unfortunate people who just cant work. Its definitely good to reward those who contribute to society but its not good to base off their value from their labor, as the ability to work itself is a product of luck
I think shame is the worst human emotion ever and we should all be shameless. Shame doesnt really change behavior. It only stops it. Which might be useful at first but it doesnt really do much for the long term
I honestly might not be able to articulate this thought as of now but really i feel such hatred towards shame. I think it only destroys us. But id love to hear other peoples thoughts on it so i can understand my hatred towards it more
I really am me
Sometimes when im lost in thinking, i find parallels or even just come to the same conclusion as something ive thought of before. That makes me realize that i really am myself. That i do have things i trust in enough for it to appear even when im not specifically thinking of it
theres a world beyond what we study of it
Its not unusual for us as humans to try to constantly categorize, define and optimize the world around us. But we forget that we are really just limited to what we think we know about the world so far (which isnt really all of it) and what we can ultimately perceive at all really. Theres a shrimp out there that can see more colors than us, we cant claim to be able to know everything both within and far from our reach
Our reasoning is only really limited to ourselves both as individuals and a species. I really detest the idea of common sense because humans don’t exactly come equipped with knowledge. We just learn whats relevant to us in terms of usage and availability.
People can do things differently from your scientifically optimized way. We arent in control of our nature, our nature is in control of us. We are just unique in the sense that we can be aware of and research nature thats all
Sometimes the most important thing we can keep in mind is to not take ourselves too seriously. We are just another species in natures playground afterall

every day im mad as hell that i dont have infinite time in the day and am not physically able to draw for 200 hours straight no breaks and dont know every hobby and cant just spend the rest of time drawing and getting into every creative hobby and learn everything and get infinite money from the government
We tend to forget that we are never truly the same person once a moment passes. Our mind, flesh, appearance, identity, personality, we think all of those are indelible and that our existence is a monolith
I think its truly unbecoming how we act as if we are the person we used to be and that we will remain as so in the future aswell
Our consciousness often fools us to believe we are more and simultaneously less independent than we really are. We think we are bound to social constructs but not to nature
