There are people who you can sit and quietly watch the night sky with and there are people that you sit with while you both make comments about finding a constellation shaped like a dick and sometimes if you’re really lucky you find someone who is both

i can be obsessed with romance and also be totally fine on my own it’s called having depth and dimension and being in denial

sometimes self care is putting your phone down. sometimes self care is getting out of the house. sometimes self care is doing something you don’t want to do. sometimes self care is uncomfortable. sometimes self care is hard. that’s okay. it’s worth it.

No seriously, telling yourself “this is the day the Lord has made” first thing in the morning makes it a lot easier to actually get up and get going

gentle reminder that struggling with depression or anxiety or mental illnesses in general does not make you less of a Christian.

you are loved. on quiet days that feel meaningless, during long nights when loneliness consumes you, when you’re reminiscing and grieving the past, on good days that feel like warmth and light, always remember that you are loved.
