Everything That Kills Me, Makes Me Feel Alive

My boss has been away on vacation for all of A DAY and something already broke.Thank god it wasn’t something extremely important but for gods sake can we go at least once where when she is on vacation nothing bad happens? Last time we had one person having to go into quarantine, another claiming she had a medical emergency(She didn’t. She just needed a filling), and another not wanting to work. Luckily the current problem is that the pacing clock stopped working. Really not a big deal when you think about it since our high school swim teams stop after today. But all of our members would use that clock to know what time it was. Granted, we do have another clock in the room, just its not a huge digital one. So today a lot of members were fussing at me for the clock not being up. So when our CEO gave me a break I mentioned that the clock wasn’t working and that there were multiple complaints about it. He sent in our maintenance team and they couldn’t get it working so they ordered a new one. Hopefully it is the right one because if it isn’t I better not have to deal with a pissed off aquatics manager in two weeks when I get home from vacation.
