Hello! To everyone except Kirby, Bandana dee, Dedede, and Meta knight. What were you all doing when the whole "Forgotten Land" incident happened? I would assume there was a bit of panic when the four core heroes of Dreamland went missing for an extended period of time...
I started drawing this one a MONTH ago. Jeez. It wound up being quite the workload. I haven't made a multi-image answer like this in a long time, but it was great fun. Albeit stressful.
This is easily one of the most headcanon-based asks in a long time. I loved getting to draw some characters that I haven't drawn before.
(Side note! On the bottom left of the last panel is the Waddle Dee character Squeak from @askdeleine! That blog has been dead for ages, but they're my friend and I've wanted to include a reference for some time now. The Abouts section on my blog used to have a reference to askdeleine under the character description of Adeleine, but I changed it a few years ago when I was overhauling the blog in its entirety.)

If I had to guess, Gooey probably feels like Silly Putty. Not gross and slimy, but still malleable.
For Dedede, have you vaccinated against Dark magic? Because is been 30 years and you still keep getting posses by everything!!! even the kitchen sink

I definitely considered drawing Kitchen Sink Dedede for this one. I'm happier with this.
I'm not sure how a magic vaccine would work but if you figure it out make sure to let King Dedede know so he can pester Susie about it more.

For Daroach, how you knew so much about necrodeus when you got to the popopo islands?
More specifically, Daroach in Mass Attack tells us that Squeakers gather intel for the Squeaks. This doesn't tell us how he knows anything about Necrodeus, but we can make inferences based on this information.
Hopefully the quality of this background makes up for the terrible one from last time I drew Daroach.

Hey kirby did you know that king dedede was a villian for taking the food of dream land
Definitely didn't finish this reply way back in December and then just not post it because I post three updates at a time and I couldn't be bothered to draw anymore. No sir. Couldn't be me.
Anyway, that's why Kirby's wearing a red and white stocking cap. I was gonna edit the image to remove it but I think he looks nice in it.
Also, this is the first post on this blog with an image description for those who need it, or just want to understand my perspective better.

Do you ever wonder where the hell your copy abilities even come from?
We all know Gooey can also perform the Copy Ability, but I rarely see people talk about how Rick can too. He inhales the enemies on his own, and takes on the properties of what he inhales. Just like Kirby. It's interesting food for thought.
I couldn't think of anyone else who has the Copy Ability in a similar way as Kirby does. Miracle Matter doesn't copy anything, it can just use the powers. Void mimics Kirby's face, but that's it. Not that I had room for anybody else in this image, anyway, it's already a little crowded.
As for the origin of the Copy Ability, nobody knows. It's probably just a natural part of the biology of any creature that can use it.

Hey Shadow Kirby! How's it going since the whole "Dark Mind incident"? Need any help protecting the Mirror World? Not that Dark Meta and Shadow Dedede aren't enough help, but I'm somewhat decent with a sword! (P.S. I'm probably gonna end up helping whether you like or not because that's the kind of guy I am)
Since Kirby Fighters 2, I've really enjoyed the idea that Shadow Kirby is a little bit of a mischief maker who doesn't know his own strength.
