pride goes before a fall

Just heard from the Airbnb guy and they are all ready for us. Sure, Airbnb are immoral and killing the hotel industry, but – party house!  Also, shotgun not rooming with Zeke. I love you, dude, but… I’m gunna want to sleep. Not meet a parade of LA’s most eligible young bachelors.

I’m sure the hotel industry is still thriving, because rich people exist. I’m so pumped for it, though - will there be a pool I can push you into?

So thankful to have my voice back for this trip. We were supposed to open West Side Story last week, but with me losing my voice and a number of cast members getting injured, the producers have pushed our opening back. But that means I can head to Cali with you all!

What the hell happened that caused several of you getting hurt?

Well, I guess I should update you all on what’s been going on. Had my court date and was obviously sentenced. I had to spend at least the weekend locked up and I now have five years of probation. I also have to do volunteer work and my probation officer has been kind enough to let me pick what I want to do. The downside is I have no idea what to do and I need an answer by the weekend so if anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

So not only did dude from Rocky Horror decide it was him and not me this past weekend on our second date- I have to go to the doctor’s on Friday because I think I may have torn my rotator cuff. So, like, that’s my life. I know I shouldn’t complain because others have it worse but I am going to complain.

Ivy sat by her work desk, attentively editing a video she really didn’t need to start on until later of the week. She was totally not procrastinating on her pediatric nutrition homework that had been lying untouched for two days. She swore to herself that she would get to it, just not now. Going through the clips from Cam’s karaoke night, a bright smile lured on her face seeing all of her friends being absolutely dorks. No matter how much drama there had been between the group, she couldn’t have imagined living without them. Thank God for that glee club bringing their parents so close together. Upon browsing the clips from the weekend, she found one of Leo being her fun, unrestrained self on camera. It was actually ridiculous how fond Ivy was of her, how her whole body would tingle at the simple sight of her. There weren’t a lot of people she had experienced this kind of... feeling... crush?... for, and she couldn’t quite grasp why she gravitated so much towards Leo. Something in her felt the intense need to grab the phone and call her ASAP, although she didn’t even know what she would say.
