unchainably :
He was never doing anything too important when he was out like this, usually just traveling between Muramasa’s residence and the Kurosaki Clinic. In this case it was nothing more than some time enjoying the fresh air; half of his trip was spent with him idly hopping through the air, and the other was on the ground like this. In this case it was so that he could properly enjoy the bento box he’d packed himself before he headed out.
He certainly hadn’t seen the creature, but he felt it; there was something in a nearby alleyway that he sensed, even if only faintly. Some sort of animal? It… seemed to be some sort of spirit, whatever it was, and yet– not?
It didn’t take long at all for him to approach it, having spotted the eyes in the direction he assumed it was, only hoping that it would be able to see him. The spirit knelt down to be closer to the level the creature was lying down, picking up a piece of sausage with his chopsticks and setting it down on the ground between them. It certainly seemed to be an animal, now, with what he could see. A strange, large dog, perhaps?
“Here you go, puppy. There’s a good dog.”
The figure was approaching her. It got closer and closer and she shrunk farther and farther back into the shadows and she could only imagine what would be thrown at her this time–
–…. He was… kneeling down to her level? And putting a piece of food on the ground for her, no less! So did that mean there was nothing to be scared of after all?
Slowly but surely she came out of the hiding spot she’d made for herself, sniffing at the sausage before gently grabbing it between her teeth. Mhm– it was definitely food..!! Really good food, too, so without another second wasted she happily chowed down on it with her tail swishing behind her in delight.
When she was done she didn’t dare shrink back into the shadows for that could be considered ungrateful. Instead, she sat back on her haunches directly in front of the spirit with what could be considered a smile on her face. She’d say ‘thank you’, but that might scare her new friend away.(something that was to be avoided now that she knew they were actually quite kind)
