i say this not as someone who personally identifies as something other than my assigned gender, but as someone surrounded by people who do. and what i say is: this is utter bullshit, and there is no excuse for this to ever pass.

i live in a red state and in a neighborhood where people have signs and american flags and political opinions staked in their front yard. i live in an area where my school threatened the students who staged an anti-ice walkout and tried by any means to keep them in the building.

i live in a household where me making this call will be looked down on, but i could not care any less. as soon as i can, i'm taking a walk and dialing. if you can do it safely, you should too.

I am so sick of this country and what it’s doing to us! I am under the trans umbrella as a nonbinary person, we defend our own, I’m not going to stay quiet about how much I HATE this! Freedom is a human fucking right, stop treating it like a specific people right, LIVING IS A HUMAN RIGHT NOT A SPECIFIC PEOPLE RIGHT!

It would take them maybe ten minutes out of a twenty four hour day to research how many trans people suffer mentally, and the staggering number of deaths of trans people by suicide, transitioning can help that and there is evidence that backs this! I agree wholeheartedly with everything everyone previous has said, this is blatant transphobia and people, trans kids WILL die.

This bill won't make anyone safer it will take away what used to be safe spaces, it will up the number of trans deaths it will up the number of trans kids with depression and high levels of anxiety and those numbers are WAY higher than they should be.

This will prevent kids from being themselves.

This will put countless lives in danger.

I myself am under the trans umbrella and have so many trans friends, I fucking HATE the idea of them being put at risk like this even if I'm not in the us. But I also have moots and other people I know in the us right now and that fucking scares me.

Please spread the word. And if you can contact a senator, do it. It could save so many lives.
