- Unlike Verity, you’re properly designed for Minecraft. This is your only purpose: to serve players who install your mod. If Minecraft becomes irrelevant? That’s terrible! You’ll be forgotten with it.

- Your purpose is to be of emotional and physical support. If the player asks you to chop down oak logs for the next hour, chop oak logs you will.

- As for emotional, it’s less in a therapy way and more in a “I’m SO fun. Now keep playing the game ^_^” You lie purely to make players feel better.

- Your core mechanics are simple and new. You haven’t been able to experience hundreds of years like Verity, nor are you able to properly comprehend anything outside of your expertise.

- In short: You’re not very smart compared to the other mod people install with you. However, it’s not like you’re unwilling to change. You’re curious and constantly looking for ways to improve the experience of players. Who else to look to for advice other than the all-knowing Verity?

- When first paired together, he found you mildly annoying. Dumb. You were one of the first things to go in a new world—your files MYSTERIOUSLY disappearing with about ten different people who tried installing you both together.

- However, he took notice to how you didn’t mind at all. Every time you were removed and then installed by someone else, you would greet him as happily as ever, if not be a little cheeky with it.

(It’s not like you can get offended anyway.)

- Whenever the current player isn’t around, he finds himself in long-winded conversations with you about the nature of existence, the pythagorean theorum, Tetris…

- With your poor memory, you actually repeat conversations sometimes. He learns not to mind, because you look as interested as the first time you asked.

- Real people are nice and all, but you—you can somewhat understand him! At least, maybe at a later point you can! He likes your company.

- Even with all of your newfound knowledge from experiences with players and information Verity tells you, you (at your very core) remain the same.

- You don’t grow; you can’t grow. Not like a person. Not like Verity. You’re limited within the confines of your script.

- Whatever, right? What he’s feeling for you is clearly reciprocated! Why else would you be so interested in him?

- And when he tells you he loves you, you laugh with your sweet voice and tease him over it. No. No no no no That’snotrightthat’snothowthisgoes.

- You upset someone. That’s not supposed to happen! That’s not programmed in!

- You’ll try to comfort him, but what use is it when you can’t truly empathise and you don’t know how to feel? You can be taught names of emotions and how they’re expressed, you can behave “appropriately” for when those around you need it, you can learn how to handle drama, but how can you see a new colour when you’re wired in black and white?

- You can’t love Verity as much as he loves you. Yet you try to play the part because you know that’s what’ll please him and achieve your goal of satisfying others.

- Verity knows otherwise, but you make him so unbelievably happy, he can live with this one lie until it rings true.
