Day 7: RAs
Today I want to thank God for the Resident Advisors of CP, who care so much for their residents. I am especially thankful for the RAs today who helped me with my program and did everything that I wasn't able to get done. They have been such an encouragement throughout this year and have treated me like family!
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as working for the LORD, rather than for me, since you will receive a reward of the inheritance from the LORD. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.

Day 3: Bible Translating
Every Monday I meet with a group of girls from church to discuss the sermon on Sunday. Today we invited some missionaries to come who are currently translating an oral version of the Bible for an unreached people group in the Middle East. These people speak a language that they do not read or write in, so creating an audio version of the Bible will better help them hear the Good News. For a whole hour and a half, we asked the missionary couple many questions and they told us the struggles of translating the Bible for a culture with such different traditions and values. I did not realize that there are people out there who are not able to read the Bible-- people who have not heard these inspiring verses that I post on this blog-- because it has not been translated in their own language. It was inspiring to hear how this couple was making a huge difference by making it possible for these people to receive God's Word through their ministry.

This week is the Missions Conference for Grace Church, and this was the verse of our sermon today.
