Day 1284 - Hers Anonymous — “ My grandmother is the strongest woman I know. She never worries about anything. She is not afraid of aging or dying. She always asks that her funeral be a party. Recently, she started making a goofy face in all our family photos so everyone laughs when they look back through them after she’s gone (which of course drives my mother crazy.) Growing up, her father was cold and had no confidence in her. So she worked hard, got a college degree and became an officer at a bank in the 1950s. She is so proud to tell her grandchildren that. And we are proud to call her our grandmother.”
