Love hearing incomprehensible things about the life of the 8th Doctor in expanded media it’s always like “His companion Skip Haverty was a 49th century half-human half-original alien species woman written in 2002 who describes herself with a detachment from gender almost word-for-word with the definition of being non-binary but still uses she/her pronouns because the writers didn’t know about that. She wears the cyber-boots that were given to her father’s corpse to remember him after her planet got cyber-converted. During the story The Cruel Shining Light of Heaven, the Doctor transfers a piece of his soul to her body to keep her alive which he received back to his body after she was killed by a plume of sentient fire that threatened to destroy the entire planet they were on that eerily predicted Russel T Davies’ time war. the 8th Doctor was forced to eat her corpse for plot reasons. He cried and whimpered as he did it. She was not included in his list of companions during The Night of the Doctor but was included in the novelization.”
