Sometimes, when the weather was right, Jarona liked to go on walks by the lake. Gentle waters, rippling softly as the creatures within went about their creature-y lives without a care. They wondered what such creatures might be thinking, sometimes. Did they dream too?

It was sunny today. Peaceful. Whispering winds caressed Jarona’s hair gently as they walked along a snail’s pace, admiring the view. All their troubles melted away like wax, and they smiled.

Evening had fallen on a quiet night in Hometown, but Jarona Dreemurr hadn’t returned to their home yet. There, among a patch of buttercups, they sat alone, storybook in hand. They weren’t reading aloud, no, but they were reading. It made them feel peaceful. Happy, for once.

Their slender hands turned the pages gently, barely making a sound. Nights like this were Jarona’s favourite. Whispers in the trees, a soft bed of grass and his jacket beneath them, and not a care in the world. Or, not many, at least.

”Oh! Welcome to my garden. I didn’t notice you there.” Jarona hummed pleasantly as they watered a bed of lilacs. They were dressed for gardening, with some dirt on their knees suggesting they’d already been at it for a while.

They regarded the newcomer with a friendly smile. “Are you new here? I think I’d remember someone like you if you weren’t, hehe.” They laughed, hiding their smile behind a gloved hand. “What’s your name, stranger? My name is Jarona Dreemurr, but most people call me J.”

Taking one gardening glove off, they offered up their hand for the newcomer to shake.

hi harper here, so uhm things are happening irl (im not very well) so i’m gonna be taking a break for a little bit i’ll be leaving my queue on (its full of flowery art reblogs because im cringe (they all have comments cuz i had this queue before i got sick XD)) but i won’t see anything in my inbox/notifications (duh) still feel free to send me stuff though i’ll get to it when i come back whenever that may be
