"That is beyond ridiculous." Sloane looked at Mateo. "Unless they're trying to dig up the truth of something, then I can see the point, but when it's the same story over and over again, it gets pathetic."

"Well everyone has a new theory on those cases, a lot of it is just bullshit and people talking about nothing that they know." He looked at her. "It could always be worse, you know?"

Mary had been a little out of the loop when it came to the town gossip and where everyone was at, having taking time away to enjoy the perks of being a married woman with her husband and a few friends. So the trip to the coffee shop with a friend was just what the doctor had ordered. " I need to be filled on what has going on, I feel like I've only been to town for work and the parties."
