Help Fund An LGBT Web Series

I’m not famous. Not even the tumblr type or twitter type famous. But there’s a story I started telling that needs finishing.

I usually write funny posts. But today I’m going to get real for a sec. A year ago a friend came out to me. She fell in love with a girl and was so deliriously in love. But life isn’t always supportive. You know the drill. She was so besotted though, that I had to write about it. And because life is overdramatic as it is, I made it comedic.

We released all six episodes of season 1, and we have thousands of views, and even got nominated for a film festival! I want to make season two because… well, it seems like my friends have been coming out to me lately, and there’s so much to be told.

This is where I need your help. Season One happened because friends and free pizza. That’s not enough. We have bills to pay, cats to feed, cars to fill up. And as an artist… I want other artists to get compensated. I want them to feel like it’s ok to miss a shift at the restaurant they work at. They’ll get that lost money back.

So here I am. Asking you to support my project. If you donate or share this post, know that you’re supporting independent artists, you’re supporting stories that don’t often get told. And, who knows, maybe for someone out there, this might be a story that gets told at the right time.
