Bravebyers/Wisewheeler but this is the dynamics: Bravebyers : Will is entirely swept off his feet and utterly bewildered by how doting and devoted this Micheal is. Mike the Brave obviously enamored with Will and loves him and Will is SO okay with this. Micheal the Romantic more like. Of course he knows all of Williams tells, and they translate to normal!Will, he remembers all the little things and Will is all "Why can't MY Mike be like this?" (Meanwhile Mike does know and pay attention to every bit of Will he's just bad at showing it, we know this.) ------------------------------------------------------- Wisewheeler : Mike, as per usual, has NO idea what to do with himself or Will. William is understandably a bit frustrated. "I miss my Micheal. This one is... something else, for sure." William trying to sort of coax Mike into being more.... more, if you get me. Mr 'Emotionally Repressed' fumbling with a more confident, forward, secure in himself Will, who definitely pities him a bit. They get there eventually, don't worry. Ultimately, it is none of my business HOW they get there, so don't ask me. Or do. Maybe I'll freaking write about it or whatever...

Mike and Eleven ending up together, meant NOTHING to straight people. It meant nothing because that’s what happens in every story.
Mike and Will ending up together, would’ve meant EVERYTHING to the queer community. It would’ve meant everything because queer people deserve to see a relationship that looks like their own.

If any writers out there, or anyone really, could explain something to me… Moments before El sacrifices herself, she tells Mike “I love you” and he doesn’t say it back. Even in her final moments, he can’t say it back. The Duffers made this CHOICE, for him to not say it back. Why?? Why why why why why? If they wanted to prove it had always been El for him, that would’ve been an easy moment to do it. What are the implications of this? Why make that choice?
Maybe they are just shit writers and literary forgot, or all the takes were so bad.. that was the only acceptable one 💀 but still I can’t understand that choice
