You cannot tell me that the finale highlighted their central message “Can love defeat fear”.. because what? That was the whole point of the show and they just defeated Vecna/the MF with a flame thrower and bullets and El. Where was the love? The friendship?

Can we also talk about how Will’s coming out scene did absolutelyyyyyy nothing narratively for the final fight? They said he NEEDED to do that in order to fight Vecna, mind you Vecna was completely unconcerned with Will nor his powers the entire finale 😭 so they made him do that for what???

What was that about Mike’s “final conviction being vital in the final confrontation”???? WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT

El being a genius and also using the diversion plan as a way to get away from Mike because he’s actually just a terrible boyfriend and can’t kiss for shit

If they were just going to give us that TERRIFYING Mileven kiss in the finale, they should’ve had them kiss in S5 episode 1… when they hug.. or in episode 2… when it’s still ambiguous… or in episode 3.. 4.. like you cannot tell me they didn’t do that shit intentionally 😭
