The elon musk trillionaire shit should literally radicalize everyone. We live in a world where people still starve, where some people never have the choice of recreation or relief. Despite that, however, the is a man on this accursed earth who has 1,000,000,000,000 dollars. He could give each American $3,000 right now and have more than 100,000,000 left. There are approximately 36 million people who live in poverty in the US. He could give each of them 27,700 right now and still have so much money that he really wouldn’t have to keep working for the rest of his life. He, and many other absurdly wealthy people, choose every day not to save the poor, to let people starve. They are in my opinion murderers. There is no way that capitalism fixes this rot within us, in fact capitalism produces this rot, we see humanity as greedy and selfish, but I believe this is just the consequences of capitalism. We must overturn the world as it stands today if we want to bare any hope against this, climate change, racism, exploitation, and so much more. We can heal, we can mend. But not through capital.
