I think my friends forget how much my brown bears mean to me, and I have seen this multiple times.

Over the years in secondary school, I feel the need to bring my bear to school. At the beginning of year eight, I no longer had that privilege.

When I tried talking to my friends for advice or help to try and deal with the stress this has caused me, they all told me that my bear would survive without me for the time I was at school and that my bear wasn't needed.

But I don't think they realise that my bears are pretty much my whole life in my eyes, if they ever were lost or broken, I'd bawl my eyes out.

I have three bears given to me by a friend which I treasure with my whole heart among my oldest bears including a lady bug.

I could bring those to school as they are small but I can't bear the thought of losing them or damaging them (and I don't trust my friends to take care of them)

Which brings me onto the next point:

"You don't need a bear if you have friends"

I find this to be a very bitter quote I hear from some adults or even some of my friends. My bear isn't entertainment or any excuse for anything stupid, my bears are my soul and my life in one being.

Yes, they don't talk, they don't breath, they don't walk. But they don't have to because they comfort me with just the feeling of their fur. My friends can't do that the same way at school. They aren't available at all times, they aren't comfortable with hugs. I respect that. But that is why I need my bear.

And I need them to try and understand that.

"If you were a character, who would you be?"

I got asked this a couple days ago at school while I was enjoying my lunch time.

And over those couple days I've come to realise that I truly don't know the answer to that question, I could be different to many people and I could be very different to myself everyday. I possibly could like one character that I relate to one day and a completely different one the other. And as I pondered this thought, I realised there's truly no correct answer to this question. Because you always change. Mentally and physically. You'll never agree with yourself forever. My reply to that question was "I don't know. What about you?" And they seem to think so quickly.

For example, they said "Cheshire Cat!" How can they be so sure? What if they think they like the Cheshire one day but then prefer the Red Queen the other? And that's what I mean.

Secondly, I had another thought. Do humans relate to characters because they're an exaggerated version of reality that they wish to see or do humans relate to characters because the characters can do whatever they want without consequences in their world permanently like how a human may desire to be the same?

I don't know if half of that makes sense but you must be patient with me, I've not shared my thoughts online in a while and I just wanted to see if anyone has had the same thoughts or feelings about the same question recently.

Reading: I'm one of those people who reads like ten books at once (it's a blessing and a curse but mostly a curse); I'm making my way through Paul's Wings book right now, and am also reading The Story of Silence by Alex Myers (retelling of a medieval Romance about a genderqueer night), Mortal Follies by Alexis Hall (sapphic regency era romcom with some very fun fantasy elements), and Sunburn by Chloe Michelle Howarth (coming of age story about a lesbian girl in 1990s Ireland)!

Hey so I'm currently trying to figure out the le mis lore and stuff but I don't know which le mis is the best le mis to watch, I've only watched the 2012 version because I heard it had Helena Bonham carter in it and she's my fav actor, so I'm turning to tumblr since I think it's the place where most musicals fans are.

Also I got a dvd of le mis in concert today so that's a start I guess. Anyway, if anyone knows just comment or something
