i have a bone condition that causes my body to calcify over time (extra bone growth). im the only one in my family who has it and its like, EXTREMELY RARE.

anyways- i think i might actually have to get my left amputated bc ive broken it so much that its basically one solid piece at the wrist.

how do you think i should go about asking to keep my hand? it doesnt help with anything, obvi, but my condition is part of me. would it be bad if i want to keep it?

of course not. our Body is our body, we only get one of it, it’d be in a dilemma if i were you too.

as long as it doesnt pose as a serious threat to your Health or mobility, i don’t see why they wouldn’t let you Keep it. you deserve bodily autonomy!
