First, I want to thank you all for your support so far regarding the competition! I feel incredibly grateful for being able to get up to the round where we're now going head-to-head for the top 05. It's been such a treat that's brought some light to stressful times lately.

However, as you can probably infer by the title, something happened. From what I understand, multiple people -- both competitors and supporters -- are getting their content containing the link to the competition flagged and removed to the point some are getting restricted on Meta's platforms. This was brought to my attention earlier because someone I know became a victim to this, and I later learned others have reported online that they are experiencing the same. One person I know isn't able to request a review/appeal at all for any of the posts because the posts are "ineligible." Initially, I wasn't planning on posting about this and was intending to just be patient with the message I sent to the competition's customer service about it, but in opening my Instagram, I have been flagged on my account too. In other words: I can no longer really post about the competition nor anything else on Instagram until further notice. I've submitted a review request for this.

I don't want this to continue happening to others nor do I want to appear as if I no longer care about the competition; so, I'm informing you all instead of the current situation. All of it feels a bit bizarre considering the partnership between the competition and Meta to allow those with valid Facebook accounts to vote for free, but I'm praying to get an answer soon from their customer service so everyone will receive some more information regarding resolving the problem.

ENG: Speedpaint of my late entry to @az_hanza 's (Instagram) webcomic character drawing challenge. I forgot to record it until I was partway done, so please forgive the odd start.

ENG: Although late, this was going to be my submission for @az_hanza 's (Instagram) challenge to draw their webcomic characters from "Falling in Love With My Ex-Fiance's Grandfather" and "My Boss Doesn't Have a Face." I wanted to continue the vibe of making manga covers, so I tweaked it from my original painting idea. How did it come out?

I'll continue to accept requests until Saturday ✌️ The only rules I have is no: NSFW ("Hazbin Hotel" for example is okay), controversial characters, hate-related, political, nor AI generated. If I find there's a request that makes me uncomfortable, I'll let the person who submitted know.

Otherwise, just know that the sketches are mostly single character and in black and white lineart. If you want to request multiple characters, you can, but don't be excessive with it. Like, 5 or 6 at max for this round. The amount might be lower next time I open up requests, but I'll let you all know then.

If you’d ever like some more requests/ideas for characters to draw, let me know, cause I can totally give more if you’d like.

Thank you! I'm very happy to learn you like all of them! For Dante, I saw while doing some research that he's a reptile, so when adjusting him to my style, I tried combining the features of a Komodo Dragon and Crocodile (which I see now does sort of mix into a T-Rex 🤣). As for Vibri -- it might have been because I saw some "Kingdom Hearts" videos recently, but I considered making a stain-glass-like drawing of them. I decided to go for mainly a similar pose.

I'll open up sketch requests again in the future. I'm not sure when, but I'll let you and the others know when I do.

The characters you recommended seemed pretty cool too, so I might do more fan-art about them in the future. I have a schedule, though, for some of my fan-art posts, so it may be a while. Would you like for me to tag you when I do?

I pray you like the sketches of your OC and Urbain. I wasn't able to tell what some of the details were on the outfit reference you sent and I had to make some up as I went.

Also, you may have not known, so I won't blame you, but when I looked up the outfit to see if there were more references online, it seems to have been AI generated. For future reference, if anyone is to request sketches, please do not provide that type of reference. While it appears to have become a trend on Twitter to draw your OC or favorite characters in this outfit, it's not something I really support. This will be the only time I post something like this, but that's because I was already partway done with the sketch by the time I learned of this.

I really enjoyed working on all of these characters! They're such a nice variety to play around with. Some I tried to keep in their original style and others I wanted to play around with in mine. What do you think of them?
