it is 2020 so the fact that there are people out there that STILL maintain they are just poor lil things that are unable to write gay ships, PARTICULARLY!!! f/f is just dumb and homophobic. lesbian/bi girls and nb characters are flat out ignored and treated like shit. i generally avoid reblogging those ‘respect female muses’ post because most of the time theyre being co-opted by the people only writing m/f shit and only paying attention to muns when they see they got a dude they can write against them but then act completely shameless and ignore the rest of their characters. if you claim to love writing with someone, shouldn’t you love writing with ALL of their muses? it just doesn’t make sense to me!

This is such a dramatic way of putting it, when you die as an athlete, it’s literally a part of you that dies. It’s part of who you are. I still cling to that. I still call myself a baseball player. Because that’s so much a part of who I was growing up, and I still don’t know fully who I am without that being a piece of it. It’s definitely a tough thing when you let that go.
