thanksgiving is over, and with the holiday season fast approaching, everyone's favourite little bavaria is about to make its annual transformation into a snowy, twinkly, magical slice of the north pole in the pacific northwest. there's magic in the air, and the snow hasn't stopped since october. santa's village is going up in the town square, where a giant christmas tree is already in the place of honour, to be lit by the mayor as part of opening festivities for the holiday season.
