I've been thinking about opening up the ask section to let people request free doodles if they want for a while, so that's what I'll do! Granted I don't promise I can make them right away, and won't be making them too clean either. I've been going up and down with my will to draw lately, but I'll try to make sure I don't leave any undone!

Down bellow some rules:

I can do armors but once again very roughly

I can add a bit of lighting or shading if required but it will be super basic and cell shaded most likely

Background art

Redraws of an illustration or sketch found online that you thought looked cool but you want to see X character drawn in it instead (it might not be tracing but it would count as copying)

This one should go without saying but anything offensive, bigoted, p*do and etc (requesting this will go with an inmediate block) is a big ass No No

-Any request done in DMs will not be made. Please use the askbox so I can keep track :>

-Once again the time it takes for a doodle to be made can differ, depending on avaliable time/motivation

-You can ask as many times as you want! Just please don't fill my inbox with requests (like don't request 50 things a day) I might end up not wanting to doodle for you x)

-There might be something requested I don't want to do and forgot to add to the won't do list, and I have the right to decline that doodle

-I'll be editing the list from time to time if I get requests that I don't feel good doing or requests that I do but never specified (you can ask if I'm okay with doing something specific that doesn't appear in the list)

-You can keep the doodle and/or repost but always remember to credit and don't be a dick and edit out the signage pliz

-I DO NOT consent to use these for AI in any capacity and no them being free on the internet is not giving permission for AI training

-References are welcomed! And sometimes probably more necesary than you think so don't be shy in adding those!

-Please please do not grab the art of another artist as reference and say "can you doodle a character like this art or this pose". Only free of use references please

-Sorry to anons but I'll remove the option for anon requests :c . I do this to avoid a person spaming with the same request and also filter the people that might ask a problematic doodle (as I explained before, those will be blocked)

-Please don't use bots. They suck :D

-I won't be taking re editing requests. I make one doodle and move on to the next

-3D modeling requests won't be accepted either. One because... this is for doodles, and two because those require a lot of time and effort to be made and I'd rather keep those projects personal

-The rules list will also probably get edited as I go

Why did that specific NPC (or group of NPCs) make your shipping brain go "bing" like a microwave?

Well you know how G'raha is about the WoL. Always happy to see you and have you by his side and talk about you like the biggest fanboy (not to mention his great character arc), of course I found that endearing and a huge contrast to how Orión is in ARR. Long story short I found their pairing so precious I ended up falling in the wolgraha rabbit hole. And I also loved when you canonically meet him. For Orión it was right after fighting Ultima, she got to have some days to rest but her mind was not in the best headspace. She left Coerthas to start over her troubled life and instead ended up becoming the Warrior of Light. Her chance of a peaceful new life was decimated in an insant. So going to an expedition not connected to any of her duties was a breath of fresh air, and meeting a guy that treated her like any normal adventurer instead of the Champion of Eorzea was the icing on top.

Did it have anything to do with player preference?

Nah it just went on as I kept going in the story.

Did your WoL (or non-WoL OC) grab you by the face and say, "Regrettably, they're the one(s)."

Hehe yeah, though it took her a long ass while to figure it out. In ARR she was developing a crush but wasn't aware, only thought she enjoyed his presence and could easily call him a friend. Then Shadowbringers comes and she plumets in love like a meteor. But the dumass doesn't make a move until Endwalker (I like slowburns hehe)

Was the decision immediate, or did you have to come around to the idea?

It took me a while. Once again I saw the cutscenes before I played the game so at first I was indiferent about any shiping. Then as I played and actually saw Orión and G'raha's interactions my brain very slowly started to go "Oh... Ooooh..."

Did it feel like work to maneuver your personal canon so they fit together, or did it just evolve naturally?

Nope. Shipping your oc with G'raha is very easy with of how easily you can interpret how he speaks to and about WoL like a smitten man hahahaha. Even those that don't ship wolgraha are aware of how much he cares and adores the WoL.

Are they your sole ride-or-die OTP, or are there AUs/alternate storylines where your WoL falls in with someone else? If so, what made you curious to explore those other ships?

I have half joked internally about a headcanon where she fell for Minfilia instead and sometimes play around with it, but yeah wolgraha is definetly my ride or die.

I'm curious about platonic ships, too! (Those are often my favorites!) Whatever you consider the most pivotal or poignant connection(s) forged between NPC and WoL, be it friendship, familial, mentorship, rivalry, and/or so forth! What made that connection stand out so much that it's essential for your WoL's lore?

Haurchefant: He was her savior in her lowest and darkest moments and the reason she even decided to turn a new leaf and start over her life. Without him she would be dead, and his loss really left a scar that will stay for life.

The twins: She loves them both but Alphinaud is with whom she had the biggest conection since Heavensward. He's her little brother. The one that stood by her side even when Haurchefant's death broke her to bits. The one she entrusted her vulnerable side to. Her confidant. There was once a time she wished to punt him into space and now she's forever grateful to have him in her life. Alisaie represents a part of Orión that was lost. She's almost a mirror of who the Au Ra was at her age (personality wise) and brings a bit of that spark back into her. Orión has bowed to make sure she never loses that flame like she did.

Minfilia: At first Orión only saw a person that would give her one task after another, but quickly found a friend instead and a person she could entrust a bit of herself to. She really was the only Scion she got along with during ARR and the only other person she felt safe around during that time (aside from G'raha but we all know how that one ends ha) so of course the Bloody Banquet and it's consecuences hit her like a slap c:

And you know what I'm throwing in some important OCs too why not. You fell in my lore trap.

Her father (Dologadai)(He's not an npc ofc but I feel the need to mention him jiji): He's very essential to her even being who she is. He was her role model and the only parental figure she had (her mother was there but didn't act even remotely motherly). Both Dologadai and her hated the war they were stuck between of and wished only peace for their clan, and together they would have probably achieved that, had they not trusted only too much faith that their enemies would listen. In spite of her stoic face she's a very loving person and it's in big part thanks to this guy c:

Her mother (Khadagan): The complete oposite to her father, Khadagan only saw Orión like another warrior among her clan and a weak one at that. She was cold and distant and never cared for anyone's feelings, let alone her daughter's, sometimes her clan members would doubt if she had any once. Orión is secretly terrified of how similar she is sometimes.

Here's a wip of the background of my next big project! There's still a long way to go tho (I haven't even started with the rigging of the characters lmao) but I'm happy to say that at least the mayority of the modeling is done! I tried to recreate a certain location (though I skipped some details and also some things that won't be visible in the project), can you guess where this is?

So once again I'm working on fixing my 3D models and while I was at it I started with another character. This time: Alphinaud! (HW/STB version because it's my favorite fit for him). Textures are still a WIP

And after I'm done with him I miiight start storyboarding an itty bitty small animation test (which is going to be more like an animatic because I hate animating c:) because an idea spawned in my head hehe (and it is related to Orión and Alphinaud yesh)
