Tony stans have zero braincells

Hi! I'm Harv (or Harvard). I'm a minor (he/him) and I just recently decided to get back into marvel (specifically team cap/anti tony) tumblr.

On my old blog I always had to hide I hated T*ny St*rk so my friends wouldn't know, but here I'm open about it! I think us antis being a lesser voice in the marvel fandom is something that should change, and I wanna help educate more people about tonkys wrong doings.

Wanda is effectively the MCU’s Achilles

When Achilles and Patroclus fought in the war, it wasn’t a war they asked for. It was a war for glory, caused by Agamemnon. Agamemnon, the King, disrespected Achilles constantly. He treated him as a simple expendable foot soldier, when he was one of the most powerful warriors.

And what is Wanda? One of, if not the most powerful Avenger, something never acknowledged by Tonky. Wanda and Vision sit there. Both of them are pawns in this war against something they never signed up to fight in the first place. The only reason they’re thrown into the fray, and that the Avengers are broken up and can’t protect the Earth together, is because of Tonky; who couldn’t control his anger in Civil War.

Patroclus, Achilles’s lover, goes out into the fight for him, to protect the honor of the one he loves. And it’s during that battle that Patroclus is killed by Hector, falling to protect their people.

Vision goes out and allows the mind stone to be extracted. Then in their moments of crisis, he allows Wanda to destroy it for the sake of the people. Only for him to be ripped from her. Their actions are un-done, and Thanos steals her lover from her, as Hector did Achilles.

And once Wanda comes back, what does she do? She goes on a rampage. She uses her power to its purest potential, not thinking of the harm she’s causing in her wake. She does as Achilles did, going on a rampage to bring back some feeling, any feeling. Both fueled by their lovers dying. Trying to process the pain and inflicting it onto others at the same time.

First off, Tonky harms Bucky, physically, in one of their only one-on-one interactions. In CACW, Tony hears about how Bucky (who was brainwashed, abused, and memory wiped), killed his parents. And how does he react? Does he stop and question how he feels now? Is he angry at Steve for hiding this (understandably, as we know how Tonky acts after this) from him? Does he feel anger, pain, sadness, but control himself because he’s a damn adult? No. He fights, and hurts Bucky, with intention to kill, over something he knows he couldn’t help.

Tonky strikes first, and fights a battle he knows he can’t win, out of pure, childish rage. This is the man people think would treat Bucky right, let alone understand him better than STEVE.

One more thing that’s come to light however, Tonky may not just have the power to both be physically AND emotionally abusive, but financially as well. We already knew he had potential for this from how the one woman he manages to twist into loving him, is also the one under the thumb of his employment, someone he abuses his position of power over.

Now we’ve found out that not only did he not pay the Avengers, when he absolutely had the means to, but he left them when they were in hiding, abandoning what he claimed were his ‘friends’, who he then tried to get mad at in Endgame for abandoning him. Who would want to be friends with someone who kicks me to the curb the minute I don’t align with their ideals?

We not only see he has HIGHLY DANGEROUS, LETHAL WEAPONRY, being sold under the table, but we see it kill a little girl's parents.

Wanda and Pietro watch their parents die, are trapped under debris for days, and sit there, waiting for their imminent deaths, for two whole days.

And people still think that's something you can forgive. People still call Wanda crazy, or selfish, or un-empathetic, like she hasn't had to live with the man who took everything from her being worshipped as a hero. Wanda is left in the dust to rot whilst Tony stans look up at a cishet white man and call him a hero.

Tony Stark is, and always will be, a war profiteer, a villain, and an unforgivable ruiner of lives.

Whose name was on that bomb that killed Wanda and Pietro's parents? Tony's name. Plastered on the front like a laugh in the face to every man, woman, and child, who watched the lettering on a missile behind the flickering of a red countdown light as they wait for their death.
