oh yes i’ve also thought abt this!! i feel like maurice has a pretty significant role in the tnd, sort of like a board of directors type of thing. sector v had always been on his radar so ofc he wanted to be their supervisor after everyone got through training camp :’) for this reason he watched over all of them pretty closely while they trained and really motivated them to get through it (i imagine the training is wayyyy more challenging than it was for knd) not only does he oversee the team to report back to the board but he also mentors them :) especially mentally the tnd is stressful !! bro promotes LOTS of team bonding and instills the whole “what is a team without trust” thing in all of them
