KND fandom y'all need to get over the scar headcanons already. I'm seeing and hearing about a ridiculous amount of you crying about any artist that puts HEALED SCARS on Hoagie's arms and it's really gross considering the entire message of the show was supposed to be that children are humans too. If an innocent drawing of a character with fully healed scars makes you upset then you need to reevaluate why someone's permanent body features, something that many children of their age have IRL whether you want to admit it or not, makes you so upset. Pretty much everyone who draws that headcanon is self inserting from their own childhood so I don't want to see the "they're kids" argument because it's completely illogical and you just want to dehumanize children. I'd say something different for the general topic being discussed or any active injuries on drawings because I understand not wanting to discuss or see that, but some of you guys are getting mad about the SCARS. It's weird and you're gross and I hope you never meet someone with those scars in the real world because I don't trust you to be a decent human being about it. People shouldn't have to hide their permanent bodily disfigurements because it makes you "uncomfy womfy 🥺" and that applies to drawings of forms of disfigurement that real people have. And stop pretending kids can't have these issues, will you? We're in the year 2026, you should know better AND be able to look it up if you're really in that much disbelief to the idea that children *gasp* have complicated emotions beyond joy.
