"My mother warned me about men like you" you told the first mate of Red Haired pirates. Who's been flirting with you the whole time when his crew came into your bar.

"What, pirates?" He questioned with a small smile, liking the back and forth banter between you two. He always did love a little chase, as long as the prize was worth it.

"Heartbreakers" you answer back plainly, setting down a mug of ale, for one of Beckman's subordinates. Who sneakily takes the drink, not wanting to interrupt whatever was happening between you and their commander.

Beckman couldn't respond back, because it was true. In his youth as a pirate, he broke many hearts of former lovers. But now he breaks hearts incidentally, all his former lovers thinking that were something there worth staying for.

He did like that tho, that you were thinking about what you're going to do before diving head first. You're smarter then you let on.

"Your mother's a smart women" is all he could get out before blowing a puff of smoke from his cig.

"And I respect that I really do, but I don't break hearts anymore, at least not on purpose" he explains, stabbing his cigarette out on the public ashtray beside him.

"Then why are you still here?" You ask, used to persistent men in your bar. Picking up the ashtray to throw away all the ashes it's collected. Putting back beside him.

"Because you seem worth it" his words hit you, feeling the sincerity it, he doesn't sound cocky. Like this is some competition he wants to win. He sounds... genuine, the way his posture is relaxed, muscular arms resting on the table. You can't help but stare.

"So how bout this? Meet by docks tomorrow morning. I saw on your sign that this place doesn't open until 11 AM." He makes you an offer, his voice quiet so non of his nosey crewmates listen in on his conversation.

"What then? Take me somewhere private to kill me?" You joke, which gets a very heavy laugh out of Beckman. You feel a bit proud knowing you could get a stoic man like him to laugh.

"No, no, I was more thinking a walk on the beach, maybe show me around the village. If you're so scared to be alone with me" he explains, a smile still on his face from your joke.

You cross your arms thinking on his offer. It certainly didn't sound like a bad idea, and it's not everyday you're asked out by someone in a yonko crew.

"You don't have to give me an answer, I'll know you're answer if you don't show up or not" Beckman interjected your thoughts with his words. He isn't afraid to get stood up.

So you look at him, inspect his face, for any hint of dishonesty in it. Either he's being genuine or he has a good poker face. Because you don't find anything.

So you let a sigh, questioning yourself if it's really worth all. As you give the man another bottle

"Enjoy your night" is all you could let out when you give him the bottle. Turning away as you go to serve the next customer.

We should all start making magazine like oc templates.

Anyway more fun facts about Keys.

While he isn't a top officer in the Red Haired pirates he's still an long time and respected member of the crew.

He joined after the crew left Luffy, but still got to know Uta when he did.

The outfit he's wearing isn't his day to day outfit. It's actually a zipped up crop top with knee length baggy brown pants. And black knee length boots.

Personality wise, he's a hyper easily excitable guy, especially over rocks. Tho he can come off as very pick me, always looking to one of his crewmates for any kind of validation.

You think because has a more punk style to him that it's his actual style?

So let's say in the future he does get that arc of finding himself and what he truly wants. And the only reason he took on the whole circus style was because that's what everyone expecte. So he complied.

Keys is the only girl in the Red Haired pirates. BUT THERE IS A GOOD AREASON TO IT THAT'S NOT ROMANCE.

See he was a boy when he joined the crew. But after Shanks pissed off Ivankov. They were meant to turn Shanks into a girl as a lesson not to mess with them. But missed and turned Keys who was right beside Shanks into a girl. Embarrassed, they fled, never to be seen. Still Keys still insists on being preferred to as a boy tho. But over time he's learned to love his new body

Can you imagine their arguments? Someone who is used to be looked down upon and sometimes overestimated, with Marco who only wants to best but can sometimes come off as overbearing if not a bit of a hypocrite.

Okay so imagine if you will a tribe, their main thing is they have damn good eye sight. Like eagles or hawks. But they age shorter then humans.

So my oc from that tribes(will focus on one, Kawa) wanst to become a pirate and live a good 'short' life. Ending up with the heart pirates, Kawa tells them about their tribe but leaves out the whole aging thing. Not wanting to worry them

But since Law is literally a doctor, he notices signs of aging of a 40 year old when Kawa should be around the same age as him.

So when Kawa does admit everything to the crew, Law makes them an offer, he offers getting all of their organs and putting it in a robot body(with the help of Franky)

You are usually the first one to go to bed, and that's mostly because Benn has finish work. While he might be done with work, there's still a lot of stuff he's gotta wrap up before turning it for the might

Depending on what that is tho, maybe he has to do a double take on the inventory, make sure all cannon balls are safely secured. He won't be in the cabin for awhile.

But if it's simple paper work, he'll be sitting on his desk, with a lamp close by so not to disturb you while you sleep.

But if it's been awhile since you two were simply in bed together. He'll make it up to by laying with you until you fall asleep. When you do, he'll take a moment to just simple look at you and how peaceful you look. Then carefully get out of bed to continue working.

It's rare for you to be the one out of the cabin while Benn is. It only really happens when you're put on look out duty. But for any other reason, it's rare.

This was intentional because.

Benn was off ship somewhere ordering subordinates around. They knew what they're were doing and so did you. And you were in.

As silly as it was, you did not like birds, it's not that you were scared of every bird you saw. It's the big ones. The ones with long and sharp talons and could for fly 100 miles per hour.

Some would tease, make fun of you, which is fair, but you have a good as reason not to trust birds. Have you seen swans? They're motherfuckers

But that's a bit ironic considering you're a new recruit in Whitebeard Pirates. So you're gonna have to try and get over that fear before anyone finds out.

Though they might find out sooner, because you're making your way to the quarter deck. Something bright has caught your eye, you turn your head to the side of a deck and find a bright blue fire bird resting there. You froze immediately, birds should not be on fire, if they're fire it means it's a defense tactic, like hedgehogs. It was also large, as large as a swan.

So rightfully, all alarms were setting off on your red, fearing for your life. And the worst part? It looks back at you.

Not wanting to be burned or scratched, you slowly but surely, as to not alarm the phoenix, walk backwards, and in the ship you go.

To distracted with being relieved you got out of there alive, you seeming forgot to close the door.

But you're just happy you're alive, should probably ask the commanders if the up coming island has phoenixs as their native bird.

Something seems to have snapped you out of your thoughts, something warm. You look down

And the bird followed you

Were too caught of gaurd to respond in a sane way that you just screamed your lungs out.

Now both you and the bright blue bird as scared shitless. More so you, since you're the one backing up from the corner.

The bird who seems to be also panicking, starts to burst into flames. From there you already just accepted your fate. Burned by a scared bird, fantastic.

Only you don't get met with flames, you get met with a familiar voice

"Are you okay yoi?" Marco, he stood in the same stood in the same spot as the flame bird did just a few moments.

Now you were definitely confused

"Do...do you not know I could do that??" The blonde doctor asks, very aware of your confusion.

Lost for words all you could do was shake your head. The question now being how you didn't know, well it seems you've just been living under a rock your whole life.

With a sigh, Marco comes over to give you a big comforting hug, with a murmured apology. While apologizes weren't needed, the hug was appreciated. So you hug back.

You stay like that for awhile until Izou comes by to ask what the scream was about. You quickly make the excuse that you saw a big spider. Which was different more reasonable then the reality.
