When pollen grains reaches the stigma, pollen grain creates a pollen tube down the style reaching ovule and fertilize the ovule. Ovule become seeds. After fertilization the flowers drop it's petals, ovary enlarged and ripen to form a structure which we call "fruit".

Modern plant genetics allows to produce GMO plants which have better production and improved nutritional value. Transgenic plants whose DNA is modified by recombinant DNA technology. Desired genes are introduced in plants to increase crop productivity and to make them disease and pest resistant.
