what is one supposed to do when you're insane (I'm a writer) and you love the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (I think you can guess where this is going) and you have accidentally thought up an original character that would span the entire timeline from Bilbo's adventure to when Legolas and Gimli sail to the Undying Lands.
Am I supposed to write a multi book, a series if you will, fanfiction?? That would literally take years. YEARS. but the character is speaking to me like Sauron wanting to be written into existence. And I would of course write in a Tolkien style. This character would be speaking like a medieval peasant. I would have to add/ alter the lore.
I'm cursed with the desire to write and that I can't turn it off. I'm tortured by all the original stories, original characters, and fanfiction that I want to write, but I'm too lazy and unmotivated to write them.
