My boy's a former Penal Colonist (He was held in a Illegal Penal Colony in Union space that was kept hidden from Union), named Aaron Wake, forced to like mine asteroids in a belt, even he's unsure if he was guilty of the crime they convicted of (likely something about having hacked into a super secret and/or secure Omninet vault), but eventually he is able to use his hacking and technical knowledge to send a distress signal to Union for help, and maybe also potentially got help from HORUS during the subsequent uprising.
Since you know, HORUS has a history of such things.
Afterwards he immediately jumps at the chance of being a Lancer, having a desire to get off his literal rock and see the galaxy for himself. In the interim, he has managed to create and advance his own personal NHP (Technophile III), on top of improving his own hacking capabilities.
He pilots a Pegasus called "Innocent Until Proven" and his callsign is "Viscount", a jab at his former Penal Colonist status. His tactics mainly involve using Tech actions and hacking (He also has LL1 in Goblin) while using the Autoguns and Ushabti on his Pegasus to keep up a little pressure on enemies within range.
Personality wise: Aaron is a largely friendly and somewhat outgoing guy, but tends to come off as a weirdo, some might say "uncanny" and a bit "touched." He's a HORUS boy through and through, being almost a RA devotee, he even has his Enlightened NHP and Sisyphus NHP installed in his Pegasus during missions, and off missions has them installed in his helmet, which hides most of his face barring his mouth and chin areas, and which he wears a majority of the time. Due to them being installed in his helmet, he is sometimes seen talking "to himself" due to him sometimes forgetting that other people cannot see or hear the NHPs.
Appearance wise, he's a man of below average height, slim build, pale skin, covered in interfacing augmentations (Subjectivity-Enhancement Suite), augmented his teeth to be sharp and pointed (gotten as a thing to make him look tougher in the Colony), and in the moments his skin is shown he has a few prison tattoos on various parts of his body. In the rare moments he's not wearing his helmet, he is noted as having short, thick light brown hair and green eyes and a pointy, slightly upturned nose. He appears to be anywhere from his 20's to a youthful looking 30's.
He usually wears a light hardsuit, looking like a bodysuit covered in occasional, chitin like plates and pads (in the usual Horus style) underneath a coat. He usually brings a revolver as a sidearm alongside a combat knife, preferring to travel light. He also tends to bring an Omnihook along with him, a hacker's gonna hack after all.
