I really don't like mentioning so many people at a time but this is really important.

A good portion of you probably know that tumblr is going to be rolling out an update that will give each reblog its own seperate notes. If they do, it is going to ruin the site, and personally, I'm going to start looking for alternatives.

Like imagine you make a post, one person reblogs it and because of them the post becomes popular. You will still receive the notes and notifications from that post. With that new update you would only see that one reblog from that one person. You will not be notified of the engagement which the reblog receives, however your post will still be seen by a hell lot of people. And you cant do anything about it. That update also broke blocking.

(Farai was a possible exception. Up on the station, when Mensah had first introduced me to her family, she'd had a conversation with me. Or a conversation at me, you could say. Transcript:

I did know, I guess. What do humans say in this situation? A quick archive search came up with some variation on "okay, um" and even I knew that wasn't going to cut it.
