These fics are based in a Reverse AU of Rockman.EXE where Netto Hikari was the one who becomes the navi Netman.EXE while Saito Hikari lives on as a human. We’ve worked on this AU for about 4 years now and I decided to make a little list of the episodes that have been written so far.
Basically, the plotline runs from the anime but has influences of bits and pieces from the game and manga canons of the series, so think of it as an “anime” reboot too! It’ll also be more condensed than the large number of episode that exist for the ani...

Episode 1: Plug-In! Netman!
Lonely 13yo Saito Hikari has it all: High grades, type 1 diabetes, an obnoxious bully, busy parents and an interest in programming as a career path.But with the arrival of his brand-new NetNavi from his absent father, his whole world goes topsy-turvy as a new chapter in his life thrusts him into an era of humanity plagued with viruses, corruption and cyber-terrorists.
Episode 2: A Spontaneous WTF Subway Ride!
Infuriated by his defeat at the hands of Netman and Saito, Dekao sets out to repair Gutsman... Meanwhile, electronic devices have been going rampant throughout Densan City, and Saito is yet again thrust into another wild adventure against an electrifying opponent of the villainous organisation WWW, who takes joy in spontaneous guessing games with life-or-death consequences.
Episode 3: Vehicular Panic!
Vehicular panic spreads through Densan City as traffic lights misbehave thanks to involvement of another WWW Operative. Meanwhile, Saito pays a visit to his favourite former teacher, oblivious to a kidnapping plot of an heiress of a gaming company and the searching eyes of a powerful NetOp looking for him...
Episode 4: Ice-Cold Trap
Glad to have his mind taken off recently chaotic events, Saito is invited with his strange friends to Densan city's newest Aquarium thanks to Yaito's influence and money. But when Saito and Netman notice something is up with the systems of the Aquarium, it leads them to the city waterworks where a trap awaits them...
Episode 5: Live, Laugh, Furries
Saito takes the plunge and visits his almost-friend Dekao's house with snacks and ingredients for a lunch, preparing to watch a weird new yoga program that has taken the country by storm. Until they are abruptly interrupted by citizens acting like literal animals...
Episode 6: Attack Of The Battlechip Otaku
Time has passed since the last WWW incident, and a depressed Saito Hikari finally found the motivation to head back to school where the latest WWW plot - and a mystery teaching sub - awaits...
Episode 7: Teamwork Ignited!
With the N1 closing in fast, Saito bands together with his friends to practice seamless netbattling on Yaito's brand-new unreleased laptop produced by Gabcom. But out seeking for revenge, Count Elec and Hinoken decides to team up to 1) Steal the software and 2) Destroy Netman once and for all.
Episode 8: Dawn Of The N1 Grand Prix
As the N1 draws closer, Saito is excited to prepare for the tournament. He meets friends old and new to embark on this new journey as the nervousness is finally setting it. Meanwhile, Enzan seems to be dealing with his own issues on top of his anti-WWW taskforce mission...
Episode 9: Picking The Bones Clean
The N1 Grand Prix preliminaries go on, and now it's Saitos turn! His anxiety and nervousness heighten with anticipation as he prepares for his fight against a frightening duo: the fortune teller Miyuki and her NetNavi Skullman. Following the match, there's a lot of emotions...
Episode 10: Sugar Sweet Revenge!
The preliminaries grind on, and Saito's life isn't getting less chaotic. He wakes up to horrific news on a hack at IPC, and ends up having a severe medical emergency in front of the boy who seemingly hates him and his navi. And he still needs to make it to see Rolls match as well - for her match is against WWW's clowns Madoi and Colorman!
Episode 11: Blazing Hot Spirits
The prelims are over, and Saito's first round match has arrived - it's against no other than the WWW arsonists Hinoken and Fireman! After a threatening encounter before, Saito and Netman are more determined than ever to defeat each and every WWW member they come across... even if things get a bit too fiery to handle...
Episode 12: A New Spark
After witnessing Enzan's fierce NetBattle, Saito and Netman learn of a destructive technique - the Program Advance. Eyes glittering, he sees a pathway to victory in the technique. Only issue is, he just needs to learn it! Thankfully he's got some unexpected help...
Episode 13: A Dateful Encounter
Saito and Netman have survived the first rounds of the N1 Grand Prix, and are now practicing to perfect the Program Advance. But suddenly, Yaito drags him and his friends to celebrate their victories - at the prestigious 5-star restaurant Do-Re-Mi! However, in an encounter beneath the crystal chandeliers, Saito has suddenly been whisked away into the night... by his tournament rival Enzan Ijuuin for an unexpected meal and an enlightening heart-to-heart.
