I thought I could handle it. Many canons were cruel to their fans. I love the dead characters of many canons. But then I started crying. It was important to hope. I will not watch #vld8. But I am grateful to the voltron for lovely sheith-shippers.

I thought it would be a beautiful epic season. I thought it would end ambiguously. With small hints for couples. No more. I would like all the shippers to have hope. I would like everyone to be alive and happy. This is probably too much. But in real life, pain is enough.

I love this strong woman Allura. She will always be happy. I do not believe in another future for her.

Seriously the rando even looked pretty up in the years like they forgot Shiro is a young adult and just reduced his relationship to being an old married couple

Honestly, it's not even about looking up in the years. Like Shiro is a grown ass man who's been through some shit, I get that. But his character seemed so lackluster this season imo. And yea... For starting the show as somebody who gave up his previous fiance so he could persue his love of adventure and space and trills to reverting back to him "finding his happiness" by settling down with some dude he became soulmates with in a years time just seemed really backwards to me. That paired with his lacking reactions this season, to the comments made about his age at the carnival just made him seem like they were writing him as being old and tired and worn down?

I'm not going to hate on the writers, and I hope nobody else does either. I know their hands were probably tied and they were probably looking for a way to make the lgbt community happy that wouldn't violate contract. I get that. Like many others, I'm just not happy with the direction that was chosen to end the show. I think S7 would have made a better ending.

On December 14th (this Friday), the last season of Voltron drops on Netflix. After working on it for over three years, it’s a bit surreal that it’s all coming to an end. The team has put together so much time and effort into bringing this show to life. Studio Mir in Korea is truly a powerhouse of animation. Voltron would have definitely not been possible without the dedication of the talents working at Mir. To the team, It’s was such a pleasure working with you. For some, we’ve been working together since Korra and what a journey we’ve come together after all these years. For those I met on Voltron, It feels like I’ve known you all my life, and I’m grateful that Voltron finally brought us together. We’ve all grown together, and fought the tough battles. And now that it’s coming to an end, I miss you all. So here’s a memoir piece to sum it all up. Till the next time we come together!
