haikyuu is so beloved to me because yes, this too is volleyball. sometimes you'll be the ballboy. you will lose your wallet in an unfamiliar place, and you will make it your home. the sand is unforgiving, and the wind does not listen to your wishes. you may decide to meet someone at a certain place, but the journey there is yours to pave. things take a lot of time, and a whole lot more courage.

like, furudate-sensei was right. every step of the long-winded path can help you grow if you just open your heart to its lessons.
