I’m making my production blog into my primary art blog
Give me a follow!! I’ll be posting old and new work soon!
You’ve probably noticed I haven’t posted here in a while, well here’s the reason. I’ll be migrating some work from here to my production blog. I’m going to leave this one up as an archive of what I’ve done.Â
Here’s Cornelius again!Â
Rendered and textured in Arnold.Â
Back from being AWOL, this semester has been so busy with my Thesis and other classes. So here’s my bonus project from Rigging. We had to make a rig for a ghost character, I may have gotten carried away.Â
This is Cornelius, he was a sword swallower in the late 1800s, before the accident. Now he performs in the afterlife.Â
If you want to keep up-to date with my thesis, here’s my blog. I need to post a few more images of what I’ve done this past semester. I’ll be on break until January 23, but there’s lots I need to do in that time. Finish modeling, texturing, and start animating!!Â
I want to try posting everyday until I get back to school next month, just for practice and getting back intoba working mood. For today, I've been trying to sketch figures from fashion magazines to practice proportions and shading. All done using charcoal pencils.

So I started rewatching Digimon, and had to drawn my Children! I can barely remember any of the plot, but remember my love for these three.
Views from the horse barn so far this summer. I’ll hopefully be spending more time there.Â
Let’s go to the beach, beach!!!Â
Here’s some photos from earlier this month, at my brother’s grad party at Lake Ontario.Â
WIP of an animation I’m doing for Shark Week. Just a dude jumping off a cliff.Â
I still have to finish the second half, spline the arms, then make everything less jumpy.Â
Woo! Just updated my demo reel, check it out if you have a change :)

Final turnaround of my darling Spidershark. At long last, he is finished. I’m quite proud of where he is right now. Who knows, maybe I’ll redo it in a few years, who knows!
Made, textured, and rendered in Maya and Mudbox
Here’s my final from lighting! We had to create an outdoor eatery, as a final shot of a movie. I made a rooftop bar with a James Bond character drinking at it.Â
Tuna rig found here, https://www.behance.net/gallery/31141085/Tuna-Rig-for-Free
Adele’s Skyfall is used as music, and is not owned by me.Â
Second project from Lighting and Rendering. We had to make a piece inspired by an Oscar winning movie, so I did the Grand Budapest Hotel, one of my favorite movies!Â
I should go back and fix the lighting on the building itself.Â
It’s A Trap!!Â
Hey guys, check out my most recent Lighting and Rendering project. We had to make a slow motion movement through a scene, and light/render it in Arnold.Â
Everything is made by me!
Check out my Vimeo for more workÂ
Reblogging from the art blog guys, check it out
Stayed tuned tomorrow to see a video of my Grand Budapest Hotel project for Lighting and Rendering!Â

Use Sketchfab to publish, share and embed interactive 3D files. Discover and download thousands of 3D models from games, cultural heritage, architecture, design and more.
Hey guys, now that it’s summer vacation I have time to post some of my work again! This is a project I did for my Visual Culture class this semester. We had to make “something brilliant” for a local progressive education school called Harley’s 100th anniversary. We chose to celebrate the school’s motto of “passion, curiosity, and creativity.” To do that we created a 3D model in Maya of the school’s oak tree symbol. On it we placed children interacting with objects that harken back to the motto.Â
My group consisted of 3 students studying 3D, me, Alex, and Maggie. We each contributed to the design and concept of the tree, and made assets for it. I made the tree based off of Alex’s final design. Maggie did the final composite with the kids (her rigs) and all assets together. We presented it on the website, and using Google Cardboard glasses for a VR experience.Â
PS: You can fluidly move around the sculpture. If anyone has VR glasses you can look at it that way.Â
