Some UE5 lighting work I did while testing light baking. These are both Lumen though sinc ebaked lighting does not look as nice and can't handle volume. Really like the mood of the first one as my initial lighting but I think i can incrasde the intensity of the rims and tha saturation like the last tast after baking.
Shop our Rose Gold unique flower lamp that emits warm ambient light. Its lifelike petals, flexible lighting stem create a magical feel. USA

And for my last trick, I present to you all my Chompbot.
Chompbot was based on concept art illustrated by artist Jake Parker from his Otteropolis series. This robot was one my first models created back in my second semester of Animschool in my first modelling class. For my final assignment of this semester’s Intro to 3D Lighting class, I took my Chompbot model and lit it in a way that it could later be added to my portfolio.
According to my instructor for the term---Brandon May, I should be proud of this one and I am because it turned out better than I expected. Not too shabby for someone who didn’t know much about lighting in general. And with this model completed ends my final semester at Animschool.
While I still have “graduation” to think about, needless to say I’ve completed all of my respective courses. I actually did way better than I expected for my Lighting Class. I mean I expected to walk away with a passing grade, possibly an A or A-.
But what I wasn’t expecting was full marks. Like a full 100% A grade. Like holy shit! That’s the highest score on my Animschool report card. Everything else is mostly As and A-s. As I’ve shared before, I worked my butt off to succeed, create good work and maintain my A game throughout my time in the Character programme. It wasn’t easy. A lot of late night classes and many, many hours dedicated to modelling; sometimes juggling work-related projects.
But none of this wouldn’t matter if I wasn’t doing it because I love it. Learning 3D has been something I wanted to do for so long---since my last run at Animation back in university. I figured such a feat would’ve been impossible especially since 3D or animation in general isn’t big in my country.. But fortunately I was able to earn this opportunity.
But I’m not out of the water yet. As I said, the first step was completely all of my courses with passing grades. Next up is receiving my certification.
I’m not an official graduate of Animschool and certified 3D Modeler/Artist until I get that shiny piece of paper with my name on it X3 Until that part comes along, enjoy the fruits of my labour for this last term folks.
I’d definitely love to do something for when I’m all wrapped up. But for now, hope you like my bot folks!
