Sketchfab scam warning for fellow 3D creators
Recently I got a fake comment from “Sketchfab Support” claiming that my account wasn’t verified.
The link led to a completely fake page with a fake support chat trying to get my credit‑card information.
As someone who creates 3D models, I can see how easily this could fool other artists — the scam is extremely polished and convincing.
Sketchfab never asks for verification through comments, and they definitely don’t ask for banking details.
Stay safe out there.
hey. wanna look at chabindra's model and maybe study the textures and topology and whatever. well here you go
The main character from a game I want to make in the future. Going for a sort of dreamcast-ish style. - Apron Strings | Chabindra - 3D mode

If you aren't aware, just bear in mind that you can go to sketchfab.com and look at 3d models of many things.
A lot are in the public domain or available under a creative commons license.
Some people have even done 3d scans of their pets.
Museum artefacts are on there.
If you're bored online try it out. Look up statuette of a singing monkey. Im begging you.
