I handled this incredibly badly, and I wish I’d never even said anything about the EFN top 100 in the first place. Sorry I snapped, but I was already kinda wound up by that point.

I deleted the “who the f*ck are you” comment as soon as I’d made it, and I was going to just leave it with Sketchy, but the notes and the inboxes and everything else just… riled me. Sorry. :/ I shouldn’t get all ragey with other musicians like that, even when they do pick on my tracks.

That was my “I’ve finally made it” victory laugh, but yeah, it didn’t mean anything malicious (I stopped using fandom numbers to measure my success a long time ago). Honestly, every time you guys have been on that list, you’ve deserved it - and it’s all subjective anyway, so #59 doesn’t even mean much in the grand scheme of things.

But again, we don’t compete with eachother. Maybe it wasn’t obvious that I was joking, but I’m really not that mean-spirited. Certainly not enough for my first reaction to something like that to be “yay, I’m better than everyone else”.
