Separate Space

So this is what I spent my Saturday doing. It came out super nicely and now I have a classy, subtly fandom box to keep my coloured pencils and stuff in.

Virgil you suck at this. Let me steer.

KAYO KYRANO: “juvenile delinquent”

parkour-loner kayo, for my  tbirds high school AU. she lives unhappily with her uncle trangh following the disappearance of her father, and she has no friends to speak of. usually found leaning against locker doors looking threatening.

For @moment-of-sen who asked for something with Virgil and Kayo.

Kayo was looking out of the window of the shop with an angry expression.

It was raining.

“I told you, you should have brought an umbrella,” came the cheery voice of Virgil behind her.

Kayo glared because Virgil was 100 percent right. He had told her it was going to rain and he had told her to bring an umbrella.

But Kayo hadn’t listened; it had been a sunny day and carrying around an umbrella was the last thing she wanted to do. 

So here she was, bags in hands, ready to go back to the apartment and she was going to get soaked.

“You can share mine if you want?” Virgil offered, ever the gentleman.

Kayo eyed the large umbrella he brought, “Virgil, you barely fit under the umbrella, let alone another person.”

Virgil shrugged, “Then I guess you’ll have to get wet.”

With that Virgil stepped out of the door, opened the umbrella and waited for her just off the threshold. Kayo looked at him for a moment then got an idea.

“Virgil,” she smiled, “Turn around.”

Virgil raised an eyebrow but did as he was told. Kayo put her hands on his shoulders and launched herself into the piggy back position. She wrapped her arms around Virgil’s neck and took hold of the umbrella so Virgil could grab her legs.

Virgil laughed, “Comfy?”

the ever wonderful @artisticrainey tasked the tbirds fandom artists with creating some festive art to count down to the 25th! no prizes for guessing who it was that chose to draw brains. (me)

i feel like brains is constantly subjecting MAX to subtle forms of torture (yeah do the cleaning up for me MAX, yeah just sacrifice yourself for me MAX) but at his heart i mean, he loves his weird robot bestie. and what better way to show your love than by making sure your mechanical assistant is properly decked out for winter? the fairly lights are just for a bit more pizzazz.
