only you and the gods can control your practice. it’s ok to not pray or offer everyday. it’s ok to have periods of doubt or where you just feel less religious. that’s normal. if anyone is judging you for how, when, or how often you pray or practice, politely and respectfully tell them to shut up, then ignore them. they aren’t worth the energy or time.

current obsession: i think a lot of people who really like frank sinatra and do stuff inspired by him lean into his later work with the whole big lavish band aspect of things, but that style always reminds me of seth macfarlane and then he reminds me of family guy no matter what, and when i think about family guy i recall very awkwardly, painfully prolonged 'joke' segments about rape and domestic violence specifically targeted at women. which blows because now i associate that kind of music AND the oroville (incredibly funny) with that style of humor even when its not there. ANYWAYS ive always preferred sinatra's early work with dorsey over the latter stuff. been thinkin bout this a lot
