"I saw a Raikou when I was 6."

“That’s an Absol!” Raira gasped excitedly. She worked on digging out from the other side, but she really wanted a closer look at the dark type. “Arceus, I love Absol, always have~ They’re so cool and strong,” And they tend to be around disasters just like her. 

The debris was cleared away enough to reveal a teenager and her eevee. “Hey, hun, are you hurt at all? Do you need help getting up?” The girl shook her head, but trying to get up, she hissed in pain and sunk back down,”M-maybe…”

Roy was about to defend Absol in saying he was friendly, but the girl was actually quite welcoming to it’s presence. While digging, the Absol was occasionally looking at the girl who kept looking at it. They wasn’t used to being stared at. 

Once the person and her pokemon was found, movements were more careful as to not harm them further. He looked to the girl that helped and gave a satisfied smile and thumbs up before looking to the victim.

“Don’t worry, you are in trustworthy hands. This young lady and I will get you both out safely. Miss, would you mind if I carried you, and if my friend here carried your Eevee?”

  Hearing that voice completely startled Mars. Where did that guy even come from? The commander turned around and saw the sign he was referring to. Whoever was tending the grass must have put that sign up recently because Mars did not see it when she passed through here in the morning. Wait a second, what did he just say? A sink hole!? What!? CRIMINAL FOR WALKING ON GRASS!? WHY!? 

   Usually Mars had something witty to say but she was just too baffled by this man to even think clearly.

“W-Who the hell are you? Have you been standing by that sign all day?”

The man struck a pose, trying to look heroic.

“I am VOLNUTT! A street hero for love and justice! And you, young lady, are going away for a long time!” He pointed at her and paused. Only to break out in laughter a few seconds later.

“NAH, I’m just messin with ya! That’s not a big deal. Besides, it’s only posted for night time hours since there’s been a recent growing population of Joltiks in the area...” He then looked slightly to her side, at her shoulder.

Jacklyn’s ears perked at the sound of the growlithe barking. Only to start barking and trotting over to them as well. Giving them a good sniff to see if they were friendly. 

Sadie lifted her gaze to see him. As chipper as ever. 

“Oh. Hey. About time.” she stated rather flatly, keeping her hands deep in her pockets as she shifted her weight from one hip to the other. 

At least she felt better in the fact that the other may not of been from Alola as well. Tourist had become easy to spot, even if she was one as well. (Even though she had lived there for at least over a year now.)

Regardless, she held her hand out to him. 

“Phone. Now.” 

One track mind.

“Heh... Yeah yeah, sure thing.” He handed his phone over, trying to play it cool. He was trying not to give away the fact he was up to something. All she had to do was look for the text from the person he renamed to ‘Sadie’ in his phone, and then his mission is complete.
