There wasn't a hole in the Fortress as people checked, witnesses just claimed they saw a boy fall down from the ceiling while screaming bloody murder all the way down. There were no records of the boy as a prisoner, nor even just records of the boy in Fontaine in general.

Said boy is currently in the infirmary with Sigewinne, a bruise on his head after hitting the ground, and is still knocked unconsious.

Today was a very strange day, indeed..

The boy says, although not breaking eye contact. He doesn't want to take chances just incase they try to do somethung funny.

And it seems like the kid isn't all too willing to share his name yet.

A child, one looking no older than 10-13 years old, seems to have fallen into the Fortress of Meropide. There wasn't a hole in the Fortress as people checked, witnesses just claimed they saw a boy fall down from the ceiling while screaming bloody murder all the way down. There were no records of the boy as a prisoner, nor even just records of the boy in Fontaine in general.

Said boy is currently in the infirmary with Sigewinne, a bruise on his head after hitting the ground, and is still knocked unconsious.

Today was a very strange day, indeed..

Once he was done documenting this incident he will go and check the infirmary personally.

Prison was no place for a kid, he knows first hand why. Although he did his best to reform the place, it's still a long way towards what he envisions as a place of redemption.

He trusts that if something is up Sigewine will let him know right away.

After introducing himself he pointed out towards the melusine "This is Sigewine, our head nurse and the one who took care of your wounds. Don't be fooled by how her species looks she is more capable than many other nurses i've seen around"

🩺🐰: "Thank you for the introduction, Your Grace" the small nurse replies "Now I believe it's time for our guest to introduce himself as well"

"Only if he feels comfortable to do so. It's not exactly pleasant to wake up alone in an unknown place and here I speak from experience" the Duke replies.

The boy says, although not breaking eye contact. He doesn't want to take chances just incase they try to do somethung funny.

And it seems like the kid isn't all too willing to share his name yet.

The boy suddenly asks.

The second question makes him furrow his brows in worry. One lost kid here was bad already. He doesn't want to take chances of another one getting lost and running into a potential dangerous situation.

"You were the only one who fell through from what was reported to me. Hit your head pretty bad too which is why you're in the infirmary in the first place"

The boy admits, quietly. Shifting uncomfortably in his seat at he reluctantly gives up her name. If she's here with him then it'd be best not to make her worry.

Though he didn't completely like the ide of giving his, and Yoosung's name to complete strangers, they seemed like they wouldn't hurt them, for now.

"In the case that she's not here I have a big network of people I can get in touch with to help us search on the surface"

The man pauses a bit then continues " I should mention the fortress we're in is under the sea for clarification."

Living in an apocalypse has taught him that knowing where you are, or knowing what is surrounding you is of extreme value. And despite knowing that it may not work the same here, he couldn't just stop doing something he learned, that helped him and others survive in a ruined world.

He was surpised, actually. It was really good! Gilyoung has never tried non-Korean food before, so it was a new experience for him. Maybe he coild somehow convince Yoo Joonghyuk to make some for them once he and Yoosung go back home.
