Imitating Gibbons’ artstyle was really fun!! In my head Dan is fine looking like a standart soft anime guy in glasses but Ror has to look like himself or it’s no fun ahaha, though I had to engage my brain more than usual and I hate thinking when I draw xD

Rorschach being 35 in movieverse might not make that much sense, but I kinda like it because 1) it means he never really had a restful period of his adult life. He got out of school and then immediately immersed himself in vigilantism. It feels appropriate for him. 2) Baby Rorschach running around fighting crime, having to hide his age by altering his voice. Hence the gravelly quality. 3) Him and Laurie being around the same age, which makes their banter ten times funnier to me tbh.
