I’m sorry for adding directly to a post but I went to a wedding once where the groom’s name was Loren and the bride’s name was Lauren and at the end the officiant was all “introducing Loren [surname] and Lauren [surname], husband and wife” and the entire assembled lost it

also sorry for adding on but at my high school there was a Dominic and a Dominique who were dating and everyone just called them “Dom and Dommer” which is honestly the funniest shit ever

They weren't dating but in my yeaar level at school there were three boys named Will who were all friends. We just called them the Wills. They all managed to be really smart and one time I beat one of the Wills in a kahoot and had momentary beef with the other 2 Wills and the rest of the friend group. One of the Wills was in a constant race to the top marks against the girl I had a long time crush on until she stopped doing siences on the final years and let her passion for art take hold. Lot of fun making it through that mess.

These guys make such good content. Makes me cry sometimes it's just such a beautiful way to see the world

It's a form of connection to community. It feels nice to just smile at the person you pass in the supermarket aisle because your both humans grabbing your things in a space filled with other humans. I just find it nice to feel like part of the wider whole of my local community. It's like the courtesy wave when someone actually stops at a pedestrian crossing for you, or let's you into that parking spot, or into traffic. A small way to feel just a bit better to me, at least.

it goes without saying that i will be using the word angrypenny as if it was part of the common vernacular instead of a term that my dreaming brain conjured up i.e. "he's all about the angrypennies" (derogatory way to refer to a guy who searches for reasons to be angry and possibly lacks introspection)
