if you regularly buy pants from the women's section, the one Sewing Trick i am begging you to learn is how to extend pocket size. there's so many good online guides please you are being CHEATED on pocket real estate it's an OUTRAGE. even if u have to hand sew that sucker it's so worth it (tho some libraries/fabric stores can lend/sell you sewing machine time fyi. heck you'd be surprised how cheaply your local tailor might be willing to do the alteration for)

ok i think ajw's books are important in terms of trans rep but i HATE the way so many of his pre-t characters seem to end up in relationships with cis men that are described as being like twice the mcs size... and the mc never seems to have any genuine internal conflict about it. theres no rage wheres all their RAGE, especially because it always seems so out of character for them?. like i wish he would explore the complex feelings that can come from that for trans men, like . cooper is ambiguous about whether or not he actually sees miles as a man and this doesn't seem to really bother miles which feels SO out of character ?!??!

like a lot of his mcs seem to have pretty minimal dysphoria, and thats fine like not everybody has crazy awful dysphoria, but i really just wish he would explore that rage more, the anger at the perceived injustice thats been done to you.... why am i different, why do i have to suffer like this? why does everyone get to perceive me in a way that is so, so wrong and why is there absolutely nothing i can do about it?
