This is my life in 2 pictures. First I’m trying to figure some shit out. And then I’m like “Ooh, I got it.” *cheese* For that, I’m thankful. Every year I get better at bouncing back. It’s been a while since I’ve posted in here. Not much has changed. My closet is about to explode from my retail therapy. I haven’t made an appointment with an actual therapist to discuss the crazy loneliness that I feel here in NC. Ppl will tell you that this alone time is a good time to process and really get to know yourself. Dig deep and all that. Bullshit. I know myself. Not good at the lone wolf thing. But I’m trying. And in the mean time, there’s some online boutiques and I got things in my virtual shopping carts. Oh, and after my physical yesterday, ugh. Apparently I really need to work on losing weight and becoming healthier. My doc even tried to through “gastric sleeve” in the convo. I countered with “nutritionist”. Lesson: don’t always take the easy way out. Do the work if you can. I’d rather take the long road. 🖤

New Floral Alert! There isn't just one way to wear something. So I tried this on and I knew I wanted to wear it as a blazer instead of as a button down shirt. Even though the changes are subtle, they give off a different energy. A different kind of feel. I even tried it on as a blazer over a bralette with a high-waist short--- super sexy. Won't post that pic lol. 😂😂😂 My first version was not sexy but I knew I was on to something.

But if we dig deeper than fashion, isn’t that what life’s about? Turning lemons to lemonade? Making something out of nothing? Doing your own thing and paving your own way… If you can’t work with something, make it work for you. Alter it. Adjust it. Edit it. Recreate it. Show it a different kind of love. ❤️
