Bulgaria, 5 Affordable Countries #Bulgaria #Europe #Affordable #Planning #resources #AmeriExit
I asked many AIs about Bulgaria. Here are the highlights. You can download the Bulgaria.docx from my IndigentExpat Patreon if you join at the free level. Many links for more info about Bulgaria, including government pages with English translation. Planning your AmeriExit? How about a T-shirt or mug for the journey? My Fourthwall store is up! https://indigentexpat-ydi-shop.fourthwall.com/ Thumbnails created in Canva. Video created with ClipChamp, which provided the music.
Bosnia and Herzegovina--Not !Â
I was working on the Bosnia and Herzegovina video when I came across an interesting documentary from Deutsche Welle, a German news source. Here's that link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw-KmcfUDHs So, I asked AI again, because there are some updated AI models. I got several Top 5 Lists, and there a 7 'Top 5' countries. I plan to cover them first, and they will still be in my 25 Affordable Countries playlist. The Bosnia and Herzegovina free download is on my IndigentExpat Patreon. Join the free tier, and it's yours, also free. We know how hard it is to afford anything these days! https://www.patreon.com/IndigentExpat I will have a video out about Bosnia next. Made with Clipchamp and Canva.

Don't Come Here #expat #immigration #usa #thingstoknow
Seeing the terrifying changes in my country makes me want to warn you not to try to move here. 5 Reasons Not To Come To The US
1. Our Government Is Insane Our government is trying to end Medicaid, which pays my daughter to care for me. They are cutting every government program. Weather warnings aren't as good. FEMA help seems nonexistent. We will probably lose our SNAP.
2. Inflation Housing prices are insanely expensive. We pay 75% of our income on our mortgage [I oopsed and said rent] Food prices are going up Utilities are also rising.
3. Our House We pay 3/4 of our income for housing in Trion, GA, a small town of around 2000 people. Natural disasters are getting worse. Mar-Sep we endure tornado warnings. We also have wildfires in GA. There is severe earthquake risk in CA, OR, and Yellowstone National Park which borders MO, WY and ID. It will affect 1/3 of our country!
4. Work disabled me. Worked as a DJ Driven a taxi Worked for the State Of Georgia as a government employee Been a cashier at Walmart and so has my daughter Heavy lifting disabled me by 40 and I have severe spinal disintegration in my lower back and moderate in my neck. I'm mobility disabled. Â As a state employee, I got one day of vacation and one of sick leave a month and used vacation for sick leave. I quit before they would have fired me for too many absences and went back to school. Couldn't finish school so I have 4 years of college but no degree. Now I am reentering the job market and it's harder!
5. Bigotry is bad here. We only have two relatives and politics makes our lives very uncomfortable. We are handicapped and scared. We've witnessed harm to our minority friends over the years, which is increasing.
I think other countries are better in all these ways, and that's why we are moving abroad!

I love this fella. Yes, he caters to millionaires, but gives a lot of good info for us indigent folks, too.
I asked 5 AIs to tell me what 25 European countries had the lowest cost of living and were relatively safe. Here’s what they said! I’ll be making a video on each one on The Indigent Expat channel on YouTube. I found pictures of Albania on pexels.com, a source for public domain photographs. Here's the Albania In 2 Min video, made by Dannis Cole, not AI: https://youtu.be/_g2UmRD8BUY Albania 1 of 25 Affordable Countries .docx on DannisWrites Patreon Free Tier https://www.patreon.com/posts/albania-1-of-25-128859291?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

Thousands of kids went missing from schools during the pandemic. For some who have tried to return, school paperwork has proved a daunting o
As a low-income person, I can tell you that the Lifeline program that gives people at my income a free phone service if you can verify you're on Medicaid or SNAP, the service doesn't work. The article mentions that this lady often didn't return phone calls. How can you when the phone doesn't ring?
I often missed calls on my phone because it didn't ring. Over the years I had many different makes of phones and many of the free services. My phone didn't ring consistently on any of them.
Add to that the sheer cost of birth certificates and the other proofs the county and city governments require to enroll a child. It's overwhelming when you're trying to put food on the table and cover the cost of your daycare.
When I was a single mom. childcare was 2/3 of my rent. If I had year-round school I didn't have to starve during the summers, though we often had to skip meat in our meals to pay the bills.
These are the harsh realities of being poor in the USA. I want a better life for myself and my grown daughter. That's why we decided to move abroad.

Staying #Positive - 5 Things That Might Help #expat #positivity #moving ...
Moving abroad can be stressful, but that’s okay. Here’s how to deal with your negative friends and relatives.
1 Think about why you want to leave. You might want to write down your list. 2. Work out your short-term goals. If you're planning to visit the US, make that clear. If not, you don't have to reveal that, do you? Just talk about your short-term plan. 3. Take positive action towards your goals. Research, research, research! 4. Feelings are friendly. It's ok to feel nervous, excited, scared, or even to feel angry at folks who are telling you it's a stupid idea. Try to find an outlet for your feelings like writing, drawing, exercise, whatever works for you. If you have an empathetic friend to talk with about it, all the better. If not, there are groups on Facebook and other online places to explore these feelings. And, if you can afford it, online therapy. Don't hold your feelings in! 5. Don't give up! Keep researching, job hunting, applying to schools, whatever your plans need you to do. Good luck! This video will also be released in 6 short videos and I'll add them to a new playlist called Staying Positive. Made with Clipchamp, logo made on Canva.
